It works if you know what you are doing, don't expect to be able to open locks like those Youtubers who are experts in this field and can do it in minutes.I did manage to open the transparent test lock and managed to pick a masterlock padlock.It took about 10mins. it was a matter of patients and a light touch and knowing how deep you are in the keyway. Frantically raking the pins back and forth with a key tensioner will not always work.The tools are pretty crude, can tell after about 30mins use - sharp edge on plastic handles takes it toll on your fingers.

You probably won't need all of the bits, but it's a starter I suppose
Bottom line first: The picks, shims and practice lock were fine, tension tools OK, but the bump gun was poor. At £20 it isn’t a bad starter pack, but I would recommend that if you are starting out, go with a few good quality picks and tension tools and work your way up. Most of what is in this pack you probably won’t use.I have a Southord set of lock picks that I have had for years. They were expensive, but worth it and they have always done me well. This set is a fraction of the cost so you can’t expect the same kind of quality.The picks themselves are not bad. The plastic handles are moderately comfortable to hold and better than bare metal. The tips have a good range to accommodate most locks. The metal is also of reasonable quality and will hold true when jiggling or straight lifting. They are a few microns thicker than my Southord picks, which doesn’t sound a lot, but makes a difference when in narrow key-ways. The padlock shims are OK and will get through most cheap padlocks. Bear in mind that the spring steel will see wear and tear from pushing back the bearing that holds the lock, but this is to be expected.The tension keys are a bit “meh”, in terms of variety. Most were too thick for narrow key-ways, but should be OK for cheaper locks.The acrylic padlock is ideal for learning the mechanisms of basic lock pins and padlock locking mechanisms combined. However, the lock I had wasn’t particularly challenging as most of the pins were very close to the shear line and I only really needed to pick 1 pin to pop the lock.The lock pick gun is a bit nasty. You can feel metal grinding inside as you fire it, and the picks are not particularly good quality. I have tried bumping locks I can do with my other gun, and it doesn’t really work, so it could put you off hobby picking.Lock picking is a great way of relaxing as you focus on the task and everything else is blocked out. I have been doing it for years and basic locks I can get through it seconds to minutes. I still struggle with false pins and other anti-pick security, but I still find it fun to have a go. Get some cheap euro locks and watch a few online videos to start with and you will soon learn how to get through them.

un outils très ludique, avec un cadenas d'entrainement, pas facile à ouvrir, pas de notice en Français.prise en mains des outils facile, mais il faudra de l'entrainement pour ouvrir d'autre types de serrures.

Per giocare
Questo set potrebbe essere un bel giocattolo da regalare a ragazzini intraprendenti, ma è sostanzialmente inutile per aprire serrature moderne...Manuale inutile (ma per fortuna il web è pieno di filmati sull'argomento). I vari tensionatori e gli accessori sono molto numerosi, ma sostanzialmente poco utili. In particolare la "pistola" e davvero di qualità mediocre. Belli i lucchetti trasparenti didattici.

Gutes Anfängerset
Mit dem Set bekommt man richtig viel zu einem guten Preis nur das Schloss ist im Eingang Weich und als Anfänger drückt man zu fest und somit nutzt sich der Eingang schnell ab das es lose wird und kein gutes Spannen mehr möglich ist.. also lieber etwas sanfter anfangen denn bei mir ist das Schloss nun im Eingang so weit offen das man es nur noch mit dem Schlüssel aufbekommt. Ich bin kein Profi und das ist wahrscheinlich mein Verschulden und alles Schlösser sind so Weich?Sonst ist das Schloss super denn man sieht die Mechanik im Detail und es ist nicht nur Spannend zu sehen wie so was funktioniert sondern auch besser zu verstehen.Die Picker sind Qualitativ Hochwertig und verbiegen sich nicht, nur nach längerem Arbeiten schmerzen die Finger da bräuchte man einen Schrumpfschlauch vorne.Die Pistole ist auch ganz nett und Interessant wie schnell Schlösser damit zu öffnen sind.. eigentlich erschreckend.Die Bleche mit dem Silikon sind sehr Rutschig und müssten noch geklebt werden da man beim drehen abrutscht und diese sehr scharf sind.. also Vorsicht und vorher kleben.Alles in allem ist es aber dennoch ein tolles Set wenn man sich dafür entscheidet so was auszuprobieren denn man bekommt viel zu einem guten Preis. Alles andere ist dann Meckern auf hohem Niveau. Deshalb gebe ich 5 Sterne da es im Vergleich auch zu den günstigeren Varianten gehört mit mehr Zubehör.

Für Einsteiger OK
Da ich schon einige Jahre Lockpicking betreibe, wollte ich dieses Set unbedingt testen. Die Mappe zum Verstauen der Picks und Spanner ist nützlich und schnörkellos. Wie man es möchte. Die Picks werden auch gut darin gehalten.Das Set selbst ist nicht so wirklich überzeugend. Zwar sind einige Spanner vorhanden, aber die Größenunterschiede sind minimal und für kleinere Schlösser ist gar keiner vorhanden. Die Picks sind stabil und haben Griffe. Diese Griffe werden nur sehr schnell unangenehm in der Hand und fühlen sich generell nicht gut an. Ihren Zweck erfüllen sie jedoch.Die Picking Gun ist eher Anschauungsmaterial. Ja, sie funktioniert. Schön ist das Benutzen allerdings nicht. Wenn man schon so etwas nutzt, sollte man hier auf etwas anderes setzen.
