Large hour glass woodwick candle, decent burn time of over 100 hours. Smell is lovely, not overpowering just a subtle hint! The crackling wick is brilliant!

Great fragrance lovely cracking sound

I got this as a gift for a colleague for the 2024 festive season. I was rather disappointed at the packaging as it is just in a plain brown cardboard box with a moulded cardboard inner to protect the glass jar. Doesn't look like much at all which is a real shame as the candle itself looks beautiful.I was attracted by the combination of the hourglass shaped jar with the three layers of coloured wax which do look really pretty on display. The wooden lid fits snuggly on the top and you could easily repurpose the jar once the candle is finished.The wick itself is an x shaped wooden wick. The wooden wick crackles as it burns which adds a second layer of pleasure to burning the candle. It burns well and does not need trimming as a standard wick does. The crackle is quite muted but you can hear it.The candle burns nice and evenly and my colleague loves the scent. Only 5 days after gifting she has used it multiple times and is about halfway down the jar now and reported back that the scent is not overpowering but does add a lovely freshness to the room.

I bought this for my wife and we've had a few in the past. They last ages and they give off a really nice crackling sound. We have it in front of the woodburner and sometimes you think you've lit the woodburner from the sound of the candle. Would buy again

Smell was pleasant enough. Wouldn’t buy another one though!
