Got this for our mum for her birthday. She has been using a Cricut for a couple of years and we thought this would add a lot more to what she can make. It’s easy to use, quieter than the Cricut, she can make so much more with this piece of kit, it’s small enough to be put away in between use and, in my opinion, worth every penny.

Great little machine. Only downside is the plastic wallet which becomes bent after only a few uses.

Why did you choose this product over others?: Brilliant machine just ideal for little dies when you don't want to drag the big one out.

Even though the top layer of the magnetic shim has crumpled and cracked through use (one month's light use for paper crafting), I give this a top rating because of tidy size, ease of use and operation and the precision with which it cuts. The sandwich is really light and feeds into the opening in the Gemini Junior really easily and smoothly. If the recommended sandwich doesn't work, just switch up the many plates and mats supplied and there's a sandwich that will work for every thickness of card, acetate or vellum. Turn the cutting plate at every use to reduce warping and use all areas of the plate for cutting. Dies will cut completely even when not centred. Everything you need (with extra dies and an embossing folder) comes in the box. The 'Global' version has a plug suitable for UK and Ireland. I will never return to hand-cranking and will only use my large clunky eBosser for extra-large projects. I highly recommend this machine if, like me, you have osteoarthritis in your hands and fingers. Delighted with it!

So I was very apprehensive about buying this see machine as I already have the big gemini machine. Well what can I say, it's so much easier to use the small dies and saves using the big electric one it saves the plates on the big machine from getting marked more as well. It is very easy to crank through and I have weak wrists but found this a breeze to use. The wee plastic folder you get is brilliant but they do warp and get marked the same as the big gemini but they are available as replacements and come in a pack of 3 so they will last a long time. I'm still on my first folder and I've done a lot of smaller die cuts thanks to this wee baby. It is also seriously cute for a die cutting machine. Oh and another thing.....it cuts most papers, cards and glitter card first time. Clean cuts every single time. If you're only starting out with die cutting I'd also recommend this machine to see if you enjoy it and saves the expense of buying the big one. I know it only takes relatively small dies but most of the dies card makers use are small especially for embellishments or sentiments. Highly recommended by me personally

Bought this and a pack of generic cutting plates. Unfortunately it only takes the Crafters Companion cutting folder. I have been unable to obtain these from any source, including Crafters Companion, so had to return the item. I'm not sure how long the folder will last but I always like to have a reserve set on hand. I returned this unused so cannot comment on how well it works. I received a full refund. Thank you Amazon.

Absolutely love this little Gemini Mini cutter! Can use with many arty-crafty projects. Highly recommend!

Easy to use, and saves me getting my big cutter out. Cuts well. In hindsight, I probably would have bought a 5x7 Size machine so that I can use my embossing folders.

Scrivo la recensione dopo un po’ di mesi di utilizzo e devo dire che ne sono entusiasta. L’ho comprata per praticità: ho già una big shot plus ma volevo qualcosa di più agevole per tagliare piccole cose e riciclare gli scarti di altri progetti. La gemini mini ha fatto proprio al caso mio. Chiaramente può tagliare solo piccoli oggetti (salvo errori la larghezza massima del foglio non può superare i 7 cm), quindi é perfetta per chi ha già un’altra fustellatrice più grande o chi ha semplicemente piacere a personalizzare con piccoli dettagli i biglietti fatti a mano, i diari etc. É super leggera e le ventose aderiscono abbastanza bene. Inoltre è decisamente economica. I tappetini si incurvano subito, ma ciò non ne limita l’utilizzo. I ricambi sono inoltre molto economici.

De machine is makkelijk om te gebruiken. Het is zeer klein. Het kan op je tafel staan. Zeer logische werk principe. Helaas gaat de plastiek map snel en makkelijk buigen. Ook ging mijn machine naar normale gebruik snel stuk. Ik heb het maar voor 10 maanden gehad. De rollagers gingen volledig kapot. Ik ga deze stansmachine niet meer kopen. Jammer.
