IT SHOULD, THE ISSUE MAYBE THAT IT LACKS PADDING TO SECURE TO VENTS REGARDLESS OF ORIENTATION. I END UP ADDING STICKY PADDY SHAM TO INCREASE TORQUE TO TIGTHEN IN PLACE, STILL VIBRATES.

Is the phone mount easy to remove so I can use on a different vent in the car?

It’s just a twisting knob. Unscrew and take it to another car. Isn’t sturdy because you are using the air vents. You will need to add some padding otherwise doesn’t tighten in thin air vents.
