The Sak Kendra Cross Body Bag

This back is exactly what I was looking for. The material is high quality, the size and strap length are perfect, and the color is lovely. Before this bag, I had two I alternated between. One was a small cross body bag that was good for travel, but too small for daily use. The other was a larger shoulder bag that I prefer to use for events, but was a bit too big for me. Like Goldilocks, this bag fit just right! The leather seems to be high quality; it doesn't easily scuff and the color hasn't faded. I haven't had any problem with the zippers catching or refusing to slide. I'm 5'9", so some cross body bags don't have straps quite long enough for me. With this one, there was no problem. Initially, I thought the straps might be too short, but the length of the bag makes it a nonissue. When I wear it on one shoulder, I actually shorten it a little bit. Another plus for me is that there is no enormous brand logo on the front of it. That's something that I find to be obnoxious, so I was very happy with this one. As a side note, the front pocket with the small flap over it does not have a closure method. It's tight enough that it's relatively secure, but don't put anything of importance in while you're walking around as it may get knocked out.All told, I have extremely satisfied with this purchase and definitely would recommend it to anyone.

This is my favorite purse! I love the color, the size and all of the pockets to keep organized. There are 2 outside pockets for keys and phone (the back pocket is perfect size for my Galaxy S3) and the front pocket is perfect for keys. Inside is a zippered pocket and 2 open pockets that have a sinched lining so things dont fall out like some other purses I have had. It is very soft leather and the strap is a good length and can be adjusted to use over the shoulder or crossbody. I searched high and low to find the perfect purse and this was the one! shipping was fast too

This purse is cute and cool...but not worth it in my eyes. The price has gone down since I purchased it….which is lame..oh wellPros - The colors are just like they are in the pictures - The strap is a good length and because its canvas, it won’t get those odd seams coming apart like when cheap leather straps. - Like having the outside pocket option for a quick stash - Metal hardware is really cool and sturdy, zipper is a bit stiffCons - The “leather” outside is kind of thin. It came to my house with scuffs/scratches in it already. And not in a cool, lightly distress fashion…it’s just cheap material. - The inside does not have much in the way of compartments - I see the measurements in the details, but I feel it’s a bit smaller than they say it is. Had a hard time getting a standard wallet in the main part. - No flat bottom = weird to stash….items in the outside pocket fall out constantlySo it’s an so-so purse for me. Cute to look at … but not my everyday bag.

First off: the 1 star off is because the strap is not leather: it's a sturdy fabric. I don't mind that; I just was surprised. I'd bought it thinking it was leather everywhere. With the fabric strap, the bag looks much more casual. And the description says "100% leather." So... 1 star off.Otherwise: excellent bag. I wanted an everyday bag to hold my wallet, phone, earbuds, e-reader, and maybe a couple of makeup items. That sort of thing. I wanted it to be small enough to weigh almost nothing even with my stuff in it (meaning, not so big that I could be tempted to put heavy things in) but large enough to be practical. And I wanted it to have a slim profile, so it would lie flat along my lower back. This bag is all that. It does tend to slip a bit so that it's dangling by my side rather than behind me, but whatever.The outside mini-pocket is pretty useless, I think; what on earth would you put in a tiny, unsecured, outside pocket? And that little "tab"-like thing hanging over it? That doesn't appear to have any use but to hang out and look vaguely cute. It does that well, but little else. If it were a snap-shut type of closure over the pocket, this bag would be even better.But the inside is just right. There's a standard zippered compartment along the back of the purse (inside), plus two pockets, one sized for a phone, and one a bit bigger. Otherwise it's just one big compartment. Well, "big" relative to the purse, y'know. :)For an everyday bag that you could take to a casual dinner out, or to go running errands with, this is great. Look, Ma: no hands!

Great bag! I have had several of these bags in different colors. Genuine leather! I love the size and pocket arrangement of the bags: Cell phone, sunglasses, pen, lip balm can go in the outside pockets. Interior is roomy enough for wallet, paperwork (letter size folded in half), hairbrush, etc. Big enough to handle weird extra little things that your family hands you to carry, but not so stylishly big that you look like a laundry bag with legs. The top zips up securely. Shoulder strap is adjustable. Only flaw is occasionally the leather connector of the strap to the brass ring will fail with heavy use. Easy fix.

This purse is very cute, but smaller than I was thinking it would be. I cannot carry my compact umbrella in it like I could my other Sak purse. The leather toggle on the zipper came apart (sewing came apart) and the strip of grey leather at the top is a different grain on the front of the purse than it is on the back of the purse.
