ECCO Men's Irondale Retro Sneaker Fashion Sneaker

This is my 3rd pair of ECCO shoes and I'm hooked. This particular shoe is lighter than the others but has a great feel and the fit is exactly like the others. Solidly built, yet attractive. I may never buy a different brand again.

Ecco's the one shoe brand that I can count on to fit comfortably. They always do period. What more could a guy want in shoes.

I ordered a US9.5 / EU43 being as that's my usual shoe size, I have some US10 / EU44 too but these were bigger than all my shoes. Replaced with US8.5 / EU42 which fit great, and are similar size to some sketchers that are 10/43, slightly smaller than 10/44, and still a full size bigger than saucony 9.5/43. They are slightly smaller than Nike Luna 10/44.The other thing is they come with white stuff on them like protective coating maybe, which gives them a pinker color than pictured. Some time scrubbing with water and stiff brush then applying wax got the color back to the brick red they should be. (Have a look at the fabric under the Ecco branding on the tongue for the real color)

Great looking shoes and ver comfortable

A well constructed comfortable shoe offered at a great price. I would have given it 5 stars were it not for the attempt to scuff up the otherwise new appearance . In other words, I can do without the attempt to over-style the shoe....Update: after a few months of use, I note that the 1/2 innersole slips around in the shoe while walking and the material pops and squeeks when walking fast. No longer worth 4 stars....

Great product & buy!

Love the show so far! Eccos are always super comfy. Only thing I've noticed with these shoes is that they make an extra noise when walking. Makes it sound like I'm wearing heels. I hope once they break in this goes away.Update - originally gave these shoes 4 stars, but downgrading to 1 star. THEY DO NOT BREATH. I started getting stank foot from these shoes. I don't get this problem with my dress shoes from Ecco. I was hoping these retro sneakers would provide the same level of satisfaction but in a more casual style. Sadly, that isn't the case. Love the style/look of them, but I can't wear them for more than a few hours due to their lack of breathing.I even called Ecco customer service to inform them of this issue and they were zero help. The rude lady I spoke with on the phone sounded like she was annoyed that I would call with feedback like this. Never mind that if your shoes are causing people to get a case of the foot because they don't breathe you'd think that would be an issue they would aim to correct.
