My first electric shaver for many years. A good shave but so far not the same smoothness as a blade. Maybe I need to get used to it!

I currently own a Panasonic Arc 5 which is outstanding. However I went to replace the head and blades after 12 months use and the cheapest I could find them was £80.00, they were £39 this time last year. Decided to buy this as you can get 4 for the price of the replacement blades. The Kenson is obviously cheaper but still well made. The shave it gave me (I am 69 thick hair for reference) was as close as the Arc 5. It does however take longer to achieve this due to the small head. The shaver is not as smooth in operation as the Arc 5 but it is not uncomfortable just different, I had no shaver burn after use. I have tried it both dry and with gel with the gel being much smoother. In short outstanding value for the money and if it lasts I would continue to buy these due to the vast difference in the cost vs Arc 5, recommended.

Didn’t know what to expect, but have to say I have been very surprised by the quality and the excellent shave it provides. The blades are simple and easy to clean to ensure it doesn’t get blocked on the batteryLife is great.

Bought in August, and in the bin at the end of October. Initially it was a good shave, and the ability to charge via a USB phone charger was good. However, the quality of the shave got worse to the point I thought it needed a new blade after only 2 months.Decided to cut my losses and purchased a Braun shaver as a replacement. The difference was immediately obvious, and I think I'll stick with major brands from now on.

Like a previous reviewer I find that replacement cutters/foils for leading brands are a ridiculous price so looked for an alternative.Based on only 12 previous reviews I opted for this Kerson and Wow what a bargain.It shaves closer than any other previously owned Shaver, without soreness and has two speeds dependant on your toughness of beard.Battery life is great, 2 weeks on a full charge, and as a bonus it has a very robust travelling case.Will just have to wait to see how long the cutters last, and the availabilty of spares.Highly recommended.

Gave this four months use before giving up.I liked the USB charging - one less cable to pack for travelling - and the semi-hard travel case to protect the shaver. The battery life is pretty good with 23 days between charges, although the %age remaining charge is misleading. You can expect a good few days with allegedly under 10% left.Where it disappoints is in the fundamental purpose of a shaver. I couldn't get anything approximating a close shave. The blades clog up very easily, but even cleaning half way through a shave, it still doesn't get close.

Very reliable shaver even for women on tattooed heads. Works well for facial whiskers on men. Easy to clean, oil, brush the blades and charging is quick with usage over one week daily. Nose and ear clippers also work well with no pulling or grabbing. Comes with a really nice case with individual compartments. If you put a drop of barber's clippers oil in each rotor blade after washing and drying, the unit should last a long time. Lightweight to handle too.

I purchased this product because it wasn't the cheapest. However it works like the cheapest. Worked great first time, then you have to literally stretch your scalp to try and get it to work again. Even with 100% battery it has no power. What a load of crap for $124
