Perfect fit and no issues

After purchasing several used switches, I got this new aftermarket master switch. It fit perfectly and works great.

I saw small notice on product page saying "This is Frequently reurned item" , I kind of ignored it, Thinking that might be due to people not knowing how to install into their vehicle. Big Mistake !!! I was Having "Door Ajar" warning notices and windows not working on my 00' Jeep Grand Cherokee. Master Switch is cause of those issues so I ordered "New" replacement. Arrived in 3 days, and installed same afternoon. After New switch was installed, I started my Jeep to test windows and doors. Jeep ran normally for about 2 Seconds and completely shut down, Tried multiple times with same results. Amazon has ordered free replacement but today is Friday and replacement won't arrive until next Wednesday. Will reinstall my old switch so I can at least have a running vehicle. Old one reinstalled and jeep starts and runs as normal. I've purchased used Master switch in past and have always received a working item out of the box. But I figured this one is "NEW" so why not avoid issues later. Ha Ha.. Learned a good lesson today, Won't make that mistake again. With my luck, the replacement part won't work either... "Buyer Beware"Update to seller:Received replacement master switch last night. As I figured might happen, Just installed into my jeep and the exact same thing happened. After starting Jeep, It runs for aproximately 2-3 seconds and engine shuts down. Re-installed my old master switch and Jeep starts and runs as normal but still have no working windows, door locks or interior lights. You have an issue with quality control or possibly worse than that. I will be returning switch for refund and go on ebay and buy good used master switch that works.Updated again: The Customer Service Reps at this company have been very Polite and understanding. They are in process of issuing my refund since item has been shipped back via UPS. Amazon's process would take up to 30 days after they received my return before thay would Issue refund. So during that 30 days I would be stuck with switch issue. Switchdoctor offering to refund now is very helpful in getting my issue resolved quickly. Much Appreciated !!!

The price is fair and fits the 2004 jeep cherokee like a glove. Unfortunately Quality Control seems to be lacking. I had a highly experienced jeep mechanic install the unit and when I picked up my jeep (after paying the $100 labor fee) I noticed the fob worked with every door except the driver side door. Further investigation with the mechanic’s computer revealed the problem was in the new part and also revealed an additional problem within the unit: sometimes the unit would roll down windows totally at random. Um, not an acceptable feature.Amazon was good about issuing a refund for the defective unit but I was totally out the $100 labor fee. Consequently, since $100 is a sizeable chunk of change to me, I was not pleased with the overall outcome.I believe the unit was not tested properly before release to the market place and would caution other consumers considering this purchase.
