Review: Simply Human Simply the best! - Simply Human products can’t be beat for their quality and value. I had the sensor version of this can but having to replace the batteries became a pain. I managed to connect it to AC but stated experiencing random phantom opening and closing. After 7 years of ownership I decided to get the step version. It’s gorgeous and the matte black finish compliments my matte black soap dispensers in my kitchen. I also appreciate the fact that I don’t have to buy different liners.
Review: Looks great In black - I love it! Very well packed for shipping. Looks marvelous in black. Complete assembly. Work like a charm ❤️

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Can one use a different brand trash bag (similarly sized)? I understand that I may not be able to utilize the hidden pocket.**
A: Seems others are talking of a different trash can. The 55L dual does not work with standard 13 gal bags for two reasons. 1.The standard bags are too short pulling bag off lip before bottom of bag touches bottom of can. 2. The opening on the top of a standard bag is too wide so it does not fir snug like it would on a normal can. Itsa real shame a brand with the word Simple in it needed to complicate things by creating a new trash bag size.

**Q: Does anyone know of "generic" liners that will work with this?**
A: You could use another bag (and I’ve tried) but it’s just not worth it. You can buy a box of 60 liners (3x 20 pack) from Amazon for $18.99 and they fit perfectly without the sloppy look of generic bags.

**Q: Since this is dual compartment, what size is each compartment? Thanks**
A: Each compartment is 29 liters or about 7.6 gallons.

**Q: I would like to fit this under a counter, how tall is it with the lid fully open?**
A: Glad Forceflex Kitchen Pro 20 Gallon works great just need to stretch the opening a bit. And it's sold on Amazon.

Very high quality trash can and looks great in the kitchen. I really like how well it hides the trash bag and keeps everything looking clean. The soft close lid works very smoothly and quietly. Feels sturdy and well made overall.
