I bought this to upgrade from the headset mic I used while gaming, which didn’t sound good. This microphone sounds much better! It sounds very good, actually. Being able to control the volume and noise cancellation is very nice. The plug-n-play is really convenient, no extra set up required every time you want to use it. I like the light indicator; it’s red when muted, green when on, and blue when on with noise cancellation. The button to mute is a tap on top of the mic, which seems good so that people don’t hear a click when you switch the mic off. (I still have yet to test that.) The RGB lights are a nice touch too. The boom arm was pretty easy to set up, though I struggled a little bit with adjusting the vertical piece of the arm. I’ve never set one up before though, so maybe that was just me. I don’t plan to be adjusting the stand constantly, so I expect it should last well. The only issue I had was with the noise cancellation software - it wouldn’t update and in my attempt to fix it with the recommendations from their website, the microphone stopped working entirely. After trying everything, I contacted support and they sent me a new microphone. They were very polite and helpful. The new mic works great, I can use the noise cancellation without updating the software. Overall, definitely recommend if you’re looking for a not-super-expensive upgrade from a poor quality mic.

I've been using this microphone for a couple of weeks now and I think it's very good for its price, that the noise cancellation, mute, and RGB light toggle buttons (the RGB light is perfect) are silent.Installing the microphone was the most practical and easy way to set up. I liked that it has its own software so you can update it whenever it asks. I like that it has a mute light (red), noise cancellation (blue), and a green indicator to indicate when you can talk(green).I recommend this microphone if you want to start with something cheap and quality to upgrade your setup.

Update: The company reached out to me and sent a new arm and base for the microphone. The replacement is much sturdier and no longer comes loose easily. I appreciate how responsive and helpful the company was in resolving the issue—great customer service! Because of this, I’m updating my review from 3 stars to 5 stars. The mic sound is good, though it is made of plastic and feels a bit cheap, but for the price, it’s a great deal.Original Review:This mountable microphone is okay. While the colors are great and the sound quality is decent (people can hear you just fine), the build quality feels cheap and flimsy. It doesn’t feel very sturdy, and I worry it might break easily. The arm for the stand is also an issue—it can slide out easily if moved too much, as it doesn't lock securely into place with the mount. Another downside is the lack of cord management. Unless you use something like zip ties to secure the cord, it’s hard to keep things neat. For the price it seems to be a really good mic. Sound quality is good, and it does what you need it to. As others mentioned, the build quality is a little cheap, but again for the price it does its job. I can definitely see how others managed to break theirs, especially at the point where the arm slips into the clamp. The metal is hollow and very weak. I figure as long as I am very careful with it, it will probably hold up fine, if not I'm certain it will break. I will probably put a wooden dowel inside the hollow metal post that fits into the clamp mount, in order to reinforce it. One other thing that is really annoying is that the USB port on the mic itself is lined up with the swivel mount that sits behind the mic, so this makes it nearly impossible to to plug the usb cable in while the mic is setup to any angle that you would likely use it at. I had to remove the mic completely from the mount housing and rotate it 180 degrees then reinstall it to make it work. The port should just be on the side.

I mean it's a pretty sweet mic. Cool r.g.b colors quick soft touch mute with a spin knob to control how much my mics receiving. Easy set up. Boom arm helps to attach to my desk quick and easy. Havnt had any problems with this mic. Love how I can use for my p.c as well as my android and still have quality audio. I would recommend this mic if your looking for a value mic with basic needs and setup. But if your looking for something more compatible with all devices maybe consider a different mic as this is not compatible with Xbox.
