I just bought a Blue Ox Avail tow bar from a neighbor that had never used it and the bumper attachments were not included as he didn't have a Jeep Wrangler. I searched for a product that would work with that Blue Ox tow bar and my steel bumper from LOD and found this product.These do not work with every tow bar, but the manufacturer has a nice list of tow bars that will match these brackets. I like Blue Ox and with my 6,000 pound 4Xe Wrangler, the 10,000 pound tow rated Avail works perfectly for me. The 7,500 pound rated Ascent and the 15,000 pound Apollo also work but determine your needs and buy accordingly. All run around $1,200 to $1,500 new.The bracket and parts came nicely packaged in a box with foam liners for the two main attachment brackets and foam sheets between the main parts. Everything looked new and shiny and in perfect condition. It weighs around 8 pounds and has a lifetime warranty.These fit on my bumper perfectly and just needed some washers to make sure alignment on the bumper ring keeps them centered and not sliding back and forth. The metal is super heavy duty with nice welds and all of the parts are very well made and work perfectly together.As a side note, if you don't install an underbody frame mounted kit to connect your hitch to your Jeep, then there are only 3 manufacturers that have custom bumpers that allow you to tow. Only these 3 brands work - all other custom bumpers will NOT allow you to tow - check with the manufacturer - my local off-road installer told me he sees custom bumper's all the time that are pulling off the Jeep! Do the research, but I found the LOD bumpers (with frame clips) are the most cost effective and the best made for my purposes. I bought the destroyer series. Enough of that but BEWARE! Do your research!!I love this product and it is half the price of the LOD brand and I could not find the quality was any different.I have nothing negative to say about these brackets and I highly recommend.

These are needed for towing with an aftermarket bumper from the built in D rings. Make sure your Bumper is built well enough (thickness of metal and welds) to tow from the D rings. These adapters are solid and should hold up well.
