It's important to understand that while it is an ice maker, it's not the same exact as store bought. This is softer bullet style ice that is still wet. It will cool just as ice should but won't last as long. Despite this, the maker works perfectly fine and does its function normally. We have ours in our RV which works out fantastic. Quick to batch ice and good enough to keep up with 1-3 people.

This icemaker saved me money this summer. My 22 year old side by side refrigerator with icemaker finally gave out during the hottest days of summer.We were buying bags of ice to fill our cooler so that we could have cold beverages and keep some food cold until a new refrigerator arrived.after trying both sizes of the ice cubes, I would not waste my water and time on the smaller suze cubes.

I bought this as a gift for my father. He loves snacking on ice cubes and this cranks out perfect chewing ice 24/7. Easy to clean and pretty quiet.

I so wanted to love this product, but after over 20 batches of ice and different water sources the plastic smell and taste was unbearable. Ended up returning it because no matter what we did it wouldn’t go away. So disappointed

This ice maker makes the bullet style ice. There are two sized cubes you can make. The ice comes out somewhat soft It is great for chewing and will be enough for a couple of people - assuming they don't all want a fresh cup of ice at the exact same time. It makes the ice very quickly - the basket was completely full in under an hour. You will need to keep adding water, but if you don't use the ice right away it will melt back into the water reservoir to be refrozen.This is loud. Not terrible, but you will absolutely hear it making the ice. The noise level varied depending on what stage it is in. This is normal for this type of product, so not really an issue with this product. Just something to be aware of. If you put it into a different room you aren't going to hear it, but if you are in the same room it might become annoying.This likely will make as much ice in a day as advertised - with a few catches. You will really need to work for all of that ice. As with all of these counter ice makers there isn't any cooling to the basked where the ice is held. Which means it starts to melt almost immediately. So when you try to dump the basket into the bag (or other container) and put into a freezer, it refreezes into more of a block of ice. If you empty the basket more often, you get less of the slush but that turns into a lot of work. You can break that ice up as you go along, but you still will end up with some large chunks frozen together. Additionally, it only holds a small amount of water. I think I got just over 2 full baskets before needing to refill. Not a huge issue but trying to actually make a lot of ice for a party is a ton of work. So if you are looking for a heavy production ice maker, this isn't going to be what you want. But if it is for a family this is very nice.

I soooooo LOVE this lil machine, so very much!I ordered this about 4-5 months ago and I have literally used this almost every single day! There was prolly only a few days here and there that it wasn't used, but the most part... it has been!! It creates little bullet style ice cubes and it works so incredibly fast!! You can choose between a "S" small cubes or "L" Large cubes (and there isn't a whole lot of difference between the sizes, honestly lol! ) There is a fill line and I add the water to the fill line and that whole batch will fill up my ice bucket I have in the freezer! The cubes come out kind of fragile... just not as solid hard frozen as the freezer, so when they are made-I just toss them in my freezer bucket and they get solid hard in there and work better in my drinks, otherwise they do and will melt pretty quickly!I got this in the beginning of summer and it saved me so much money and trips to the store! Yea, I could just freeze ice in the freezer buuuuuuuut, this is fast! Also, this taste MUCH better than ice frozen in the freezer because that ice is sitting there uncovered and in a tray and gathering weird taste that I do not like! The Ice bucket thing I have to put my ice in, has a lid! Also, I like the shape of these cubes too! They fit in my water bottles much easier!!!There is also a self cleaning option on this ice machine and it is extremely easy to use! you add water and take the basket out and hold the clean button down! Voila, Clean and ready to make more ice lol! The machine is quiet except for when it drops the load of ice it made into the basket! The basket is awesome and easy to grab as the handle sits outside the device and there is a cute little ice scoop that has a spot on the basket to hold it... I don't ever use it though haha! Its cute though and I can see times when one would like to use it, I just don't need to.HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! I really would recommend this if you are wanting the treat of and ice maker on your counter!! Its great! Two thumbs up!
