This is definitely a tiny pen for just quick jot of notes. Too small for writing significant amounts of info. I also hear refills maybe difficult to locate. Perfect size fir a notebook in purse or backpack.

I keep this pen in my wallet for emergencies and it has come in handy multiple times. For such a small pen it writes great. The bolt action thing dose squeak and I have had to lubricate it. Since then it's been a great little pen.

I have no clue how to change out the ink cartridge once it runs out. This pen came with spares, but it's as if the current cartridge is glued in.I believe it might be a case of too tight tolerances, in combination with the almost tropical weather where I am, but nevertheless, this thing is gonna be very tricky to sort out when the time comes for a refill. The fact that it almost seems like I might end up tossing it once the ink runs out does cost it a couple of stars.Other than that, it's nice for the most part. The titanium feels nice and smooth to the touch, and the pen writes well.If anything, the little button on the end of the bolt could perhaps do with some sanding - the edges are very straight. You won't cut yourself on it, but a different shape or a different finish on the button might have been nice.In addition, this construction involves metal rubbing on metal as you move the bolt. So, it's not perfectly smooth, but still very nice for such a tiny pen, especially considering the material and the price.UPDATE:I used up the first cartridge, so I had to put one of the refills in, or toss the pen.I figured out that if I set the bolt to the open position, and pushed the spring into the pen, out of the way, I could grab the cartridge with a pair of pliers and "unscrew" it until it came out. It doesn't seem to be threaded, but when pulling it straight out, it seemed completely stuck.The spring came out with it the cartridge, so after I got to the point when I could insert one of the refills, all I had to do was slide the refill in, and the spring after it.I deformed the spring slightly, but I could sort of reshape the spring by twisting it around the refill cartridge, before I pushed it back in.I've added one more star, but still don't consider this a five star product, as replacing the cartridge did involve deforming the spring, and because it wasn't as straightforward as replacing a cartridge in a regular pen usually is.

Nice pen, a little worried about refills

This is a nice small pen, I'm a big guy with big hands (5 inches wide and 9&1/2 inches long) and I have very little trouble writing with this pen. Though my handwriting does suffer a tiny bit, though I imagine that would be remedied with practice.The cartridge writes amazingly well on different surfaces without smudging, fading, or weeping. The pen itself comes with three cartridges, and three o-rings, so you'll be able to use it for a long time. The biggest flaw of this pen is the bolt mechanism: the machined channel is rough but holds the bolt well so it doesn't slip, the bolt handle is a circular knob that protrudes. Making it small enough and stick out juuuuust enough to catch on a variety of things.That flaw aside this is probably the best tiny pen you will find, especially at this price.

The pen is small. If you are looking for something compact, this is the pen for you.

I already have a key chain pen. The bolt action button is to easy to close the pen.

About the length of my car keys. It really doesn't impact or get in the way with your keys. Came with 2 refills. Very sturdy design
