Cutex Foot Control Pedal Part Number #FC-6605 Compatible with Kenmore Home Sewing Machine

I ordered from Cutex, because their products have always been very good, in my experience. Unfortunately, in this case, that didn't happen. When I attached the first unit they sent me to my machines (I have two Kenmores that take an FC6605 foot pedal), the motors on both machines immediately started racing without me touching the pedal. I figured I'd just gotten a defective unit. So, I returned it and asked for another. The second one acted the same.I'm not sure if it was just a bad batch of pedals (which sometimes happens), but I finally just asked for my money back and bought a pedal from a different supplier. I will say that Cutex was very good about allowing me to return both pedals. Despite this single negative experience, I feel good about the way they do business.
