Not the definitive guide on all items, but covers many regional & seasonal situations and provides good insight on how to handle some tough & tricky situations. Good information for all that are interested in arming themselves with good tricks to help keep you alive. Similar to CPR, you never know when you'll need to use this info, but it's best to have it and not need it vs need it and not have it. Fun reading & well received by many in my family.

A jack-of-all-trades approach to all sorts of what-if scenarios in survival situations whether they are urban or wilderness. Most of them of which you would probably never encounter in life. A nice book to have, but not a priority book to have if you're looking for a good wilderness survival book, or if you're looking for a simple book to prepare you for the most probable of scenarios. Having said that, I would still recommend this book for people like me who enjoy immersing themselves in anything that involves education or training in unlikely survival situations.

Older books have the same information. There are much better sources of outdoor survive, gun information and the other topic in this book

Book had slice marks on the first 20 or so pages. Someone obviously used a razor to cut something that was on top of it. I should have returned it but taped it instead.

Chock FULL of extremely useful tidbits of survival information. Even the most diehard fanboy of all things bugout will be thoroughly impressed! Consider it the "Industry Bible"...YES, it's THAT good. This book should be in everyone's bugout or NGH (never going home) bag. From refresher knowledge, to skilled preppers, this one is the ONLY book for when the SHTF (and it will, maybe sooner than we thought, so get your's today. DON'T delay).

This book is simply excellent. A great reference tool to refer back to many times. Simple concise language, easy to understand explanations, and a well thought out design makes this a must read for anyone that's serious about preparing for disasters in these uncertain times. Whether its man made or a natural disaster situation, this book will help you with step by step instructions. I'm so glad I bought it.

A really good book to "enhance one's knowledge." It is full of excellent color images and offers some good insight. It is more entertaining than actual "how to," but still worth the money to me. A different source would be better for actual wilderness survival, etc.

As a beginner to the "survival world" my husband really enjoys this book. He continuously picks it up just to read little sections. It is full of useful information. The book is layed out really well and everything you are looking for is easily found. They use real pictures in thew book which is great and the information given for survival is very descriptive.

This is a gold mine of information. A must have for any prepper :) :) :)

We certainly feel more prepared for a random collection of events!! We have thoroughly enjoyed reading and have bought two copies as gifts.

Only read a few pages so far, but have enjoyed them, was a present for my dad as he's into his wilderness and survival. Good for that Bear Grylls enthusiast
