Best Hiking Shoe Ever!
Best hiking shoe ever! I used to worry about slipping on rocks and gravel, but this shoe has amazing traction. OBOZ shoes are sturdier and may feel somewhat stiff in the beginning, but they 're still very comfortable. The shoe does run small. Order one size up if worn with wool socks. I'm completely sold on anything OBOZ.

Comfortable, nice looking. Too heavy for daily use
Love the subtle color and they are well built and comfortable to walk on a path or trailblazing. Good solid sole protects from sharp objects on the path. Would recommend for camping and hiking. Too heavy for daily use.

Can't believe I actually found shoes
My feet always hurt. I stand a lot at work. I had an old pair of Oboz I wore out. I tried New Balance, Merrell, Brooks, Sketchers so many other brands. Maybe I have weird feet. All those shoes were so tight, or they had a weird fit or just uncomfortable. I bought a 9 wide in these shoes and they fit like a glove. I did upgrade the insoles to the green Oboz insoles with the medium arch. I've been using those for years and I love them. They wear out after about 2 months but it's worth the 30.00. I've been looking for comfortable shoes for 2 years. I've been to so many shoe stores and tried so many shoes. I don't even know why I tried to change brands. Oboz are expensive but worth the extra money... edit: back again. Pretty disappointed that the heel and inside portion of the show pretty much disintegrated after about a year. Tore up pretty good after 6 months. I'm looking for new shoes again. Tried on many pairs of Brooks and Merrell and Nike and Adidas. Nothing is comfortable. Buying these again. They are reliable in the comfort department. Just not very durable for me. I will admit I don't tie them every time so maybe the way I slip them on and perhaps they rub a little and wear out. Idk. I do love these shoes.

Don’t last on tough terrain
When they were new they were amazing, sticky on slippery rocks, waterproof and sturdy! However, they wore down after only 5 hikes in the whites and the soles are totally coming apart same with the toe box. I did climb some pretty knarly cliffs with these and they worked amazing but they did not last. Disappointed.

Standard width runs Narrow- PERFECTLY!
These are soooo incredibly comfortable. They're a little heavier than my previous favorite trekkers, but all the cushioning weighs a bit more and the sole is thick. For the other narrow-footed women who search for a solid fitting hiker, search no more!(FYI- I also ordered the Saloman low hiker at the same time and they were wide and short for me.)

too narrow in toe box
This is my 4th pair of OBOZ sawtooth hiking shoes. This pair is too NARROW and/or stiff. I have been trying break them in and finally realized it was the shoe box width. I have cleaned them up and will take to a resale shop in the mountains. I am so disappointed. I hike and walk a lot.

3rd pair of this version
This pair of this version is my favorite. It seems to fit a little better/more comfortably than the previous pairs.

runs a bit big, great hiking shoe
I'm very happy with my Oboz Sawtooth Hiking shoes. Unlike other brands, their women's wide shoes are actually wide. The shoe seems to run big though. I could have easily gone with a ½ size smaller, but size 4 ½ doesn't exist, so I kept the size 5w shoes. Cinching up the laces seems to keep them snug on my feet and the extra room is probably not a bad thing at the end of a long hike.I took these on a recent road trip thought the SW USA and they were great on the rocks and hiking trails. I wanted something with a rugged sole and these met my needs. As with any hiking boot, they are a bit stiff and heavy, but the ruggedness is appreciated on the trails.
