Perfect to install and use for transporting my kayaks.

I was using flat tie down straps but they kept getting caught in the mechanics, this rope method works perfectly, I'm using them to secure a beach volleyball net.

They're okay they don't stay tight they seem to loosen up the stretches smaller ones didn't seem to do that

Can’t believe I’ve lived this long without these. Great for Lighter duty load securing. Much easier to use than traditional ratchet strap. Mild tightness which is just fine for most loads. VERY happy customer

We used these to secure a tarp over the items on the back of our UTV. Great solution than just a piece of rope. Hooks and locking mechanism are slick. Ordered a second set, since we liked them so much. I would not replace our strong nylon rachet sets for hauling, but where you would like a rope to tighten and are not sure on how to tie secure knots...these are great.

I liked them at first but even using under the stated weight I still had one Give way and the mechanism failed

I needed tie-downs to help anchor a pop-up canopy. Thumb-lock or ratchet tie-downs have hooks that are too large for my canopy, and I would need to buy 12' tie-downs. That's overkill and expensive.The hooks on this rope ratchet are the perfect size and the length is perfect also. If they can hold a kayak on the roof of a moving vehicle, they are more than enough to anchor a pop-up canopy.

Excellent for any small task that doesn't require a high tension securement. Good for working on cars. Hold up brake calipers, drive shaft, hold parts out of the way, and anything else you would normally fight while working in a car/truck

Very handy for quick front and back tie downs for kayaks. Latching mechanism seems of good quality and should hold up well for many trips.

This rope ratchet worked well for my purpose which was not for holding down things that are not too heavy

Nice rope. The pully housing is plastic and seems a little flimsy. The rest of it is that grey metal that you know isn't particularly strong either. You have to relieve the pressure before you can flip the release toggle. At least it seems to be the case if you want these to last. Of course the price can't be beat and it is useful for tasks that aren't highly demanding. I wouldn't test the stated maximum weight. With those cautions, mine is working well, but I don't use it a huge amount either.
