UPDATE TO REVIEW: I want to revise this review to a 4-Star (losing one because of the color.) I left the scarf out and over time the wrinkles fell out and the feel improved greatly. Also the company offered me a refund, which I did not accept, because I had worn the scarf and had kept it. With a little more caution about color, I would buy from this company again. 1-26-2024This is a pretty scarf. BUT it is not "sky blue" although it has blue in it. It has an amazing amount of wrinkles, and who wants to iron or steam when you are running out the door? The fabric has been talked about with other purchasers, but it is not soft the way I think of with an Echo scarf, or the Italian scarves.I got this to be a light-turquois blue scarf, but found it looked better with other colors. Although a good price, I am not sure about buying another one.

This is a truly lovely scarf. The pattern is so complex it could go with anything and not clash. It’s also super fun to look at, I’m always discovering new elements in it. It’s genuine silk, I tested a thread with the burn test. It is satin weave, not twill. That means it’s a little better suited to wearing as a scarf, it can slip if you try to wear it over your hair. I would love to see more designs by this artist, they’re so intricate and creative!

I love this scarf. It’s well made and the pattern is so pretty and unique.

This looks like a blended fabric. It has a back like a polyester scarf - where the pattern does not come all the way through and looks whited out. Also, in the sun some of the threads on the front shine like a synthetic fabric. The front of the fabric has a similar feel as silk and it has a similar movement as a silk scarf. It looks okay, but because of the uncertainty, I would not re-order.
