Does fit 30 gallons drum

It will be to wide for 30 gal. Mine will not not fit 55 gal barrel like it should'

One review said it won’t work with a fixed lid and locking ring... why is that?

The tolerance between the support, and the barrel lid is too close to allow you to spread the ring enough to get it to open. Unless you plan to tip the barrel all the way to the side, you can't get it open with the stock lockring. The plastic covers by Moultrie and other brands, work perfectly with no issues. This thing is strong. Been hanging since July at my lease with zero issues.

What is weight limit on eyelets of drum where bail attaches? Will weight of 2 welded 55s cause steel drum walls to tear?

1000 pounds and if you pua a piece of 1x4 on the inside of the drum where the bolt goes through the drum wont rip
