Wont break on first use, like someothers i will not mention.
I was waiting to leave a review, as this item needed to go thru the test of time. this far surpasses them rubber/plastic versions of which i made the grievous mistake of purchasing in the past. this thing is amazing! holds well under the weight of the car, well constructed, and best of all, its obnoxious hunter orange, which means, its highly visible for safety, so you dont inadvertently leave it to the vehicle your working on. magnets are ok, wish they were stronger, but for the over all price, construction/durability, this is a must have, even works on bottle jacks.

These are pretty good
These work really well. I wasn't sure how they would hold up and I was pleasantly surprised. I have a 2013 civic si and these fit the pinch welds great. They didn't leave a mark on my pinch welds and I would definitely recommend them to protect your car especially since they don't cost that much. The only thing is the magnets are not held in with much glue and mine came out, I just popped some super glue in and they're good as new. The magnets are strong and hold well though. Just don't forget to take them off when you're done. The tags hang low and are a good reminder to remove. They are sturdy and didn't bend or warp from the weight of the car.

A good way to avoid damage when jacking a car.
Well-equipped auto repair shops have hydraulic lifts to raise a car so they can work under it. The rest of us are usually limited to a floor jack and stands. A common jack point under a car is on the pinch rail, where the body panels are welded to the floor. This is often the easiest place to put the jack's saddle when jacking up the car. The problem is, it is so easy to damage the pinch rail with all the force being applied to a very thin contact point. The solution for this is to use a jack pad to distribute the load over a larger area. This item is an improvement over the common rubber pads in use. This item has some features I really like. It is made of anodized aluminum so it is durable but still not heavy, and it has a beautiful finish. The build quality is good. It has strong magnets that let you place it over the pinch rail, where it will stay without falling, until you remove it. The bright color makes it very easy to see in the dark and dirt under the car. It has a flag to remind you to remove the pad before driving. I find it also makes it easier to locate when you guide the jack to the right spot, without having to get all the way down on the ground to see it. The photos show a normal pinch rail and one that has already been flattened by a jack. Then two more photos illustrate the use of this item to protect the rail. If I could change anything, it would be the way the flag is connected. It uses something like a key ring that is not easy to remove or attach. Maybe this is by design so it doesn't get removed, but there are situations I can imagine when I would want to have it out of the way. Some kind of spring clip that can be easily opened with one hand would be an improvement, I think. Overall, this is a convenient and helpful tool for anyone working underneath a car who uses a hydraulic floor jack.

Sturdy
Works well but being an 1/8 wider would be nice, good height for a pinch weld.

Good quality
Look quality. Worth the $$

Effective tool
Face facts, most newer vehicles have so many shields bolted and screwed to the undercarriage nowadays that pinch welds are your only visible option to get a jack under. This does a great job of keeping the jack from rolling away while preventing damage to the pinch weld. The bright flag dangling will insure that you won't leave the pad attached to the car.

Not Magnetic
Not magnetic as advertised. The small magnets in the slot barely hold a small screw, much less the pad in place on a jack or vehicle. There is no way to hold it on the jack other than the vehicle's weight. At any angle, it could slide off. Do not recommend

Fitment and Durability
Great piece that helps jacking up my vehicle!

The Jack Pad works well for those vehicles that have a ridge line for a car jack vs those vehicles that have a flat pad. The dangling “take off before driving” tag is a bit of a nuisance when arranging your jack pad, but I do see why it is there as the Jack Pad is magnetic and stays with the vehicle even when the jack is released. If it wasn’t there you could drive off with it attached to your vehicle.

This is the right tool to keep your pinch welds in great shape, I was using hockey pucks, but over time they tend to breakdown.

Great tool for lifting the car at the jacking points. Jacking points are designed for the jack in your trunk. I use this with my floor jack for seasonal tire changes. Built well, works well. 4 stars only because the two magnets used to hold it in place eventually pull out of the mold and have to be glued back in (if you can find them).

This is just perfect and with the added magnet, it stays in place at the right location while you put your jack under. There is no magic, it just works.
