Great book, easy to use. Great for planning!

Great resource while traveling the country

I recently used this book on a 4500 mile road trip. It was extremely useful and handy to have for planning the next stages of my journey. Knowing the facilities of each National Forest was extremely handy in places where cell service may not be available.

Seems to have all we need, the only thing I don’t like is constantly switching between the map page and the list of camp spots-I guess you can’t have everything

This book & the BLM book have been my go to for finding mostly dispersed (free) camping. Both books give GPS co-ordinates, details as to accessibility, if it is tent camping, good for RVs, etc & tell you if there is water access & if there are toilets or showers available. There is also a phone number given to call & I have always talked to a live person every time I've called, or left a message & had my calls returned within 24 hours. I am very impressed with the information these books give. The drawback are the maps. They are not as detailed as I would like.

Straight forward, easy to traverse, helpful coordinates, and just the right amount of info on each forest camping area. Going to keep this in my car with all my other ready-to-camp gear!
