MoltenPremium Competition L2 Volleyball, NFHS Approved

This is an excellent ball that is a pleasure to hit and set with. The texture is soft and supple and it does not dry out and become hard to the touch over time like other balls do. I leave this ball outside in my backyard, so it has gotten rained on several times. Surprisingly, being exposed to the harshness of the outdoor weather has not ruined the soft touch and feel of this ball or its ability to remain inflated. I inflated it once on the day that I received it, and that was many months ago. The only dip in pressure since then has been due to the decrease in temperature outside because it is getting colder these days. Other than that, it holds air beautifully. I go into my backyard and hit/set onto the roof of my back porch, which is great because the ball rolls down off the roof back to me. I get good serving and setting practice that way. The roughness of the roof shingles has broken the ball in a very nice normal amount, but there are no rips or tears on the surface of the ball. Even though it is an indoor ball, it holds up beautifully to being used aggressively outdoors, which makes it even better. This is a fantastic ball. It is definitely worth the price.

I'm a high school coach and I bought a ball to see how it would hold up versus the Tachikaras I had. Verdict: my girls love this ball! Well built and holds up to abuse from many practices and scrimmages. Soft feel and playability make it the favorite ball of my setters. Will be buying more Molten balls in the future!

I was very pleased with the timeliness with shipment and delivery of this product. My daughter is especially enjoying her new volleyball. She remarks about the softness of the leather, compared to other volleyball brands that we have used in the past. I would definitely recommend. I would definitely purchase this product again, if needed. It's holding up very nicely after getting use 3-4 days every week!

Softer and better than the super touch, this is what our club uses. Plays perfectly right out of the box because it’s soft but not mushy. The super touch we got previously is made with quality but hard like a brick. These L2 are perfect!

Bought a Tachikara SV5WSC Competition for my daughter. It was hard and "plasticky" - it left her with slap marks on her arms. The Molten is just as firm but the leather is superior. Very happy with this purchase.

Played volleyball in high school and college. These were always my favorite practice balls so I decided to get one to mess around with friends in grad school. Works great! One complaint about this brand/style: the ball doesn't have the texture (?) that some other brands do, so it's almost toooo smooth or slippery. Might be a tough ball to use for a beginner but excellent for working on soft setting hands.

I’ve order several of these balls for my volleyball team and they hold up a lot better than some other brands, I have now switched to ordering just Molten!

This is a composite not leather. It is a replica of official NCAA game ball. Great value.
