Great Taste, But High Cost & Very High Sodium
Love this stuff. It is quite delicious, a very authentic tasting ramen broth. You get 3 pouches, each that claims to make 5 servings. The directions indicate to mix 1/4 cut of the broth powder to 1 cup of water. Measuring out one of the bags resulted in slightly less than 2 cups of powdered broth. This makes approximately 8 cups of prepared broth. That is approximately 1.6 cups of broth per serving. I guess that is ok, but it seems a bit too little in my opinion. But based on that serving size, it contains a whopping 2078 mg of Sodium in each serving - that is 87% of your daily Sodium allowance. And that is if you only use 1.6 cups of broth. The prepared broth, curiously, does not taste overly salty. It taste delicious, with a perfect blend of pork and chicken and other fine ingredients. You can taste the separate things that went into making this great broth - the garlic, the ginger, the onions/shallots. I have been to Japan, have eaten at many of their Ramen Shops, and this broth rivals the stuff you might find at one of those shops. We used udon noodles, as that is what we had on hand. We added Char Su Pork we picked up at the Asian Market just for this dish, along with a small piece of salmon. To the bowl also went fresh chives, sautéed mudrooms, chopped gai-lan leaves, and slivered red bell pepper. Of course we topped it off with a perfectly cooked soft boiled egg. This really is a nice broth mix. I wish that it did not have as much sodium as it has. I also wish that it was not priced at high as it is - I might actually get it again if it was priced a bit more affordably. Still, this is an awesome product.

fast meal, but not tasty.
We used this broth mix for cooking pasta. I do not think it tastes better than I make the needle soup flavor myself.

very savory!
this ramen broth was super good! i really enjoyed how tasty and savory it was. i had these at night mostly when it was getting really cool in the evening, and it warmed me right up. i was very thankful to have these little broth mixes on hand and i didn't even really feel the need to add noodles. it's kind of like drinking bone broth in a way.

Delicious, loved it.
I don't know if I made a mistake but I received the pork and ginger ramen. It didn't matter because it was a great mix up. I was very surprised about the taste. It has some spicy taste and the amount of ginger is just right. It's very easy to make and it takes minutes. The portions are quite big. Even though I tend to eat a lot, one serving was too much and I saved some for the next day.The only downfall is the amount of sodium in this meal but that's normal in this type of food. It also has quite a bit of carbs but no cholesterol.Shelf life is a little short, just 6 months from the time I received this. The Best By date can be found on the very bottom of the pouch.I'd say this is the Lamborghini of the ramen and I very warmly recommend it.

Broth Tastes Amazing
*This review is for the pork and ginger flavor* Surprise hit, this makes a really great quality thick broth definitely reminiscent of the ramen you get in restaurants, my partner and I were very pleasantly surprised.Do note you only get the ramen and broth in the packet. I would recommend adding ingredients like pork belly and an egg, but it's definitely not needed, you can just pull this out add water and enjoy a quick quality, great tasting meal. The ramen noodles could be better and also you get a fairly small amount, but for instant noodles it's not bad at all.

Easy to prepare and delicious
I'm pleasantly surprised with this ramen broth mix. It is easy to prepare and delicious. Simply add 3/8 cup of the broth mix to 1 1/2 cup of water in a pot, bring it to a boil and then simmer at low heat with lid on for 5 minutes. This makes one serving. It has a rich, savory flavor with an umami taste to it. It is heavy on sodium though. I use it as a soup base for my noodles, which I prepare separately in another pot. Then I add in some pork and bok choy for a delicious meal. This comes in a pack of 3 retail bags inside a factory cardboard box. Each bag makes 5 servings of the broth. I like that it is made with real ingredients. No MSG or artificial stuff. However, it is heavy on sodium (2078mg per serving), just like most ramen broths anyway. Overall, I like this broth mix a lot. It is easy to prepare and makes savory ramen broth. I would say give it a try. They have single packs for sale, so you can give it a try before ordering this 3-pack. Good stuff.

Good, but not great
This broth is very easy to prepare. It looks very rich, but it's not as tasty as it seems as though it would be, I had to add some chili garlic sauce to help it out. The instructions say to add 1/4 of the dry broth to a cup of water, but that's not equal to what the package says would be a serving. I also thought that the calories seemed really high for broth (380 per serving!). That being said, I will use it both for ramen and for other soups to add some flavor and salt, since the sodium content is really high.
