Informative, worth it
Review : This is a really unique book and as a reader I was fascinated while reading the book. We as readers heard in many author's interviews that many authors experience that while writing about their characters, they somehow those characters become their own personality. And other times didn't we as readers relate some characters in real life. So the author raises some questions - "Have the writers unwittingly created quasi - conscious entities by the power of their minds?" "Can thoughts manifest as something tangible that can be seen, heard or even touched?" And in the book the author tries to answer these philosophical and scientific questions through his extensive research. And also tries to mix modern science with spiritual, philosophical and mystical threads to explain them. What I love about this book and also which makes the whole theory understandable and accessible is the way the author uses examples of other writers own experiences while creating their own art. And there are some really renowned names. I also like when the author introduces the other renowned researchers quotes on the theory. And it surprised me that people are actually researching this theory. As I have no idea before it. The book opens another world to me, cause I haven't thought about this topic ever. I am really happy and grateful to read this book. But I also have to say it took me a long time to finish this book. Cause you cannot just binge read it, it's going to make you think. So definitely a book I would recommend to everyone, as the topic is really interesting.

Awesome read
This book has the concept which is about how the fictional characters were made by the authors while they were writing their novels/writings. Lots of famous authors' books and their writings were discussed in this reading and I am so happy to see the classic writers such as Elliot, Charles Dickens, etc. mentioned in this book. This book speaks about most of the famous books mostly about kind of old books and along with the books the author has also touched and spoken about the movie's fictional characters as well and this was my favorite part of this book. Some parts were beautifully written and sort of provided me with the answer to my long-time question. The narration of the story is simple and detailed without any complexity in it.

Fictional Characters Making Experiential Crossings into Real Life
This book is anything but fascinating especially for someone like me who truly believes in magic as in the power of our thoughts/ mind. The book is divided into 10 chapters. It begins with a brief up on the list of illustrations. This book reminded me of "the power of the subconscious mind". It brainstorms on the concept of consciousness & it's role in making the external reality. It provides us a new, fresh perspective of looking at things with convincing proofs, experimental evidence. Can thoughts manifest as something tangible that can be seen, heard, or even touched? Each chapter is systematically formatted and the content is aligned in a uniform, eye pleasing manner. A quote at the beginning of every chapter is a welcome add on."...many authors see their fictional characters manifesting in the real world."--"R.L.Stine was found to be a prisoner of his own imagination."--The Incredible Power Of Imagination. The author tries to solve the mysteries of imagination. He quotes various books during his discussions which is really helpful. The Mysteries of Creative Imagination."My characters come to me in this sort of mysterious process that no one really understands; they just pop up."--"Scientifically inexplicable" is not the same as "false".--The History & Philosophy of Imagination. Here we get a detailed peek into the history of the subject where there was a string disbelief in the existence of matter & form, concluding that matter & form are just mental constructs.Literary Imaginations. In this section, the writer puts forth some amazing experiences & encounters which bewitch you blurring the line of reality & imagination.Precognitive Imaginations. This section makes one believe that spirits & matter are complimentary facets of the same reality.Imagination Manifested as Discarnate Entities. Here we discuss manifestation and how reports show that thought photography etc indicate how thoughts can create reality.Imaginations in Childhood & Imaginary Companions."Might we not say that every child at okay behave like a creative writer in that he creates a world of his own".--An interesting observation was that, adult fiction authors are more likely to talk about having imaginary friends as a child.Imagination.The Science of Imagination. The observations by Dr.Dryer were fascinating & the holographic theory of the mind was mind boggling making one realise the complex operations of the human brain.Imagination at Work."The day science begins to study non- physical phenomena, it will make more progress in one decade than in all of the previous centuries of its existence."--I could not agree more with the author's words;"The unveiling of the mysteries surrounding the imagination & it's associated processes will aid humanity in understanding not just the secrets of creativity but also the underlying mechanisms that preserve cosmic order."--The Notes section at the end gives a long list of books and references, enough to busy the mind & calm the clatter for a long time. This book will open your eyes with it's examples, case studies, experiments & principles & references and lead one to think about imagination & "our" reality at a completely different level.

Intriguing Read
This book took me on a fascinating journey into the intriguing world of creative writing. As someone who enjoys writing, I have often experienced characters in stories taking on lives of their own, making unexpected choices. This book delves deep into that experience, exploring how characters can develop their own personalities and even challenge the author's plans, reshaping the entire story. What truly captivated me, though, were the accounts of characters seemingly coming to life in the real world, visible not just to the writers but to others as well. It made me wonder if writers, through the power of their minds, might inadvertently create quasi-conscious beings. The book doesn't just explore these intriguing ideas; it presents scientific evidence and blends spirituality, philosophy, and mysticism with modern science. It's a thought-provoking read that has forever changed how I see the connection between creativity, imagination, and reality, making me appreciate the profound depths of the creative process in a whole new way.
