3M Clear Bra Scotchgard Paint Protection Bulk Film Roll 4-by-84-inches

Stays put for several years. Cut and put on rocker panels of car door entry for scuff protection. Also cut down and used on bike stays to protect against chain slap. Intend to use in recess behind door handles on car, but have not figured out best shape for that…but has to be way better than the $50+ some are selling to fit that area.

A bit of an unusual application, but I read on Reddit that this was great to improve sliding for goalies. I bought some and applied to the outer knee block of my son's goalie pads. It lasted about 3 months before it even began to lift at the corners. I still haven't had to change the original application--the edges are no longer adhered tightly but only barely so--and it's still going strong after at least 4 hours of continuous use weekly. Adds a tiny bit of shine, but nothing noticeable if you're not up close. Immediate and noticeable improvement in his sliding. Definitely a cheaper alternative to buying new pads with slide plates.

Used a roll to wrap my mountain bike shortly after I bought it. The wrap goes on as expected (soapy water + spray bottle + squeegee or credit card) but you need to trim all your own lengths and curvatures. Not the easiest of tasks so if you’re not OK with this, get a precut kit. One roll covered my bike (med Specialized Epic Evo) with little, if any, leftover.

The 4 inch is the perfect size ! I wrapped about 80% of my bike is this clear bra and its great. So far I've done gravel and muddy roads and have no complaints! You can barely see it. Install was extremely easy, i highly recommend a spray bottle with water and some baby shampoo forsome for lubrication, otherwise you will have a very difficult time laying this on and getting air bubbles out. If you do have air bubbles just leave it in the sun for a day or two and they will disappear on their own. Great protectant. 4 inch is the way to go otherwise alot more cutting will be involved. Easy to apply and a fraction of the price of custom bike frame protection. I’ve used it on two bikes now and as long as you spray water with a very minimal amount of dish soap on the sticky side then use a squeegee to get the air bubbles out it goes on very well. It’s not as thick as some of the very protective custom wraps but at 1/5th the price I think it does plenty.

Product arrives with length and width cuts that are not straight and are jagged as if they were cut with a chain saw! This means that if you were expecting a clean line then you will need to re-cut the width and length in order to get that straight line. The result of re-cutting means that your piece is no longer the dimensions that were sold to you. The seller should provide these with clean cuts (like Xpel does) in the dimensions they list. Such a disappointment. I did not notice the jagged edge until I had cut my length and installed it. The end result looked like crap!

This brand is easy to apply and it’s almost invisible. Separate sections were applied months ago on my truck’s rocker panels and tailgate and I haven’t seen any wear marks yet.
