What a great book! I bought it for a friend for her birthday and she loved it! Great photos and easy to follow recipes.

I don't have the paperback, I got the PDF from Jennifer Robertson's website. So far, we've tried the berry mango popsicles, the vanilla ice cream, and the hot fudge sauce. All of them were delicious. I like that the recipes range from the very simple (put ingredients in a blender, blend, and freeze) which I can do with my small children, to the more complicated -- which I look forward to making when my kids are bigger and I have more time! The photos are *gorgeous*. It's true that there are many similar dessert books out there, but many are either very complicated (Matthew Kenney, Russell James, etc.), or don't turn out that well (many blogs with gorgeous photos and poor results). It's obvious that Jennifer tested these recipes over and over again to make sure you don't end up with an expensive flop on your hands. I appreciate that. My collection of raw dessert books has dwindled down to include only the best -- Jennifer Cornbleet's recipes, Natalia KW's recipes, and Jennifer Robertson's ice cream book.

I find it can be difficult to get the kiddos to eat healthy sweets. This ice cream book took the guess work out. It's so nice to have a cookbook with recipes the whole family can enjoy. I hope to see more from this chef.
