Easy to assemble and 5 year old loves it. Definitely needs sand or water. For the interim we’ve been able to use free weights (they fit the pole and just sit on the stand) to weigh it down and keep in place.

My 7yr old son loves this!!! Easy to put together, pretty sturdy and holds up when filled with water at base, holds air and the spring is awesome allowing it to spring back and forth when hitting.

My boys (ages 6 & 7) absolutely love this punching bag. Not only is it an awesome way to engage them in physical activity and burn some of that excess energy, but it helped my oldest some hone in his accuracy due to its small size. Assembly was simple other than the fact that many of the individual pieces did not even come close to matching the proportions shown in the diagram, which made the process a little confusing at first. The vertical rod supporting the bag is made of metal so any kicks or gloveless punches that miss the target will certainly hurt! (But what better way to improve one’s accuracy? Lol) Unfortunately my boys were too rough on it and broke the base the same day they got it, which led to water leaking on the floor…

I bought this for a 4 year old and he loved it! On the lowest setting it’s the perfect height for him, at the highest setting it’s just about high enough for his 8 year old sister. They dread this thing all over the house, and so far I’m VERY impressed with the plug that keeps the water in the base! We haven’t had any issues with leaking. The actual punching bag part has kept air perfectly and we haven’t had to pump it up yet. (It’s been three weeks). It functions as expected and helps my son get his energy out. Plus it’s so cute watching him battle it!

My 4 year old son loves it! Beating the mess out of it everytime lol although after awhile the bottom part of he punching bag gets bent and doesn’t go back to how it was before. Definitely recommend using sand over water because it moves around a lot and falls easy with the water.

My 8 year & 5 year old grandchildren enjoy this punching ball. I put water in it versus sand and no leaks thus far.

I loved this when my kids were 3-5 totally good hand eye coordination and doesn’t take up much space. I’ve bought this item twice. The first one lasted years and finally fell apart. The second one I got there was a malfunction with the base which should hold water to keep it from tipping. The second one did not close so couldn’t be used inside and fell apart much easier. Overall loved this for days inside to keep them busy
