For a striped dice chip, this one is pretty good!
I am somewhat of a chip nerd. Not the most hardcore by a long margin, but I'm into high quality poker chips. These are not that. I knew that when I ordered them. The first set of chips I owned other then grocery store Bicycle chips was some injection molded ABS "real clay" 11.5g chips. They were fun, we used them and enjoyed them. These are in a sense the same thing, but these are better.First, those old striped dice chips made for wobbly stacks. More than 20 high and you just couldn't be sure. Sometimes you could spin one chip on top of another because the thickness was not even. This set of chips is very flat in comparison. Very solid stacks, no wobble.Second, the older chips had a shiny, slick surface. It made them hard to shuffle or even to transport into the pot. Lots of times the stack would slip out and make a confusing mess. These chips have a pleasing velvet like texture. They are not the best for shuffling or tricks, but they aren't too far off some much more expensive chips I have.Third, these chips have good feature quality and very good uniformity. I can't say that about my previous set. While I'm here... clay has nothing to do with these chips. There is no clay in these chips. No modern poker chips are made with what anyone would consider clay. They really need to stop claiming that these are clay chips. That is why 4 stars and not 5. Well that and you can buy in bulk for less.

Mediocre Quality
As many other reviewers have noted, my chips also arrived with some in the plastic sleeve and others thrown loosely in the bottom of the shipping envelope. They have nice weight to them and are uniform in size so they stack nicely. As you can see in one of the pictures, the printing of the dice leaves a lot to be desired. The dots are no where near the correct placement. Some are better than others so I went ahead and personalized them for my son’s upcoming Las Vegas wedding. I’m planning on using them as party favors for their Wedding Shower and if his bride wants to use them at the wedding there should be plenty left to decorate with. If I had the option to return them, I probably would have based on the sloppy design. I’m hoping people overlook the manufacturers printing when they see how nice the customization is on them.

Nice heft for a low price
These chips are pretty much identical to the ones I purchased four years ago at a certain big box store, so they're fairly generic. That's a good thing in my opinion, because I loathe gaudy logos starting me in my face and it's easier to expand my collection of chips. The main difference is these new chips look more beat up than the ones I already had, which is why I deducted a star. That said, I've always been happy with these chips, because they provide a nice heft and sound to them that makes playing seem more professional. Plus, they don't knock over as easily. All in all, it's a good chip if you're not looking to spend a lot of money.

Nicely Weighted But Cheap Quality Chips!
These chips feel good in the hand, have a nice weight to them, and are decorated well! However, the chip design and packaging has a lot to be desired. Not only do these have noticeable rivets on the chips (pictured), but the paint isn’t good quality. These were stacked inside a plastic sleeve and shipped inside a brown paper bag. The bag busted during shipping and some of the chips didn’t even make it… I don’t even have a complete set! On the chips that did arrive, you can see scuff marks, dirt, and rubbed away areas from each chip sitting against the next. I really wish these used a better quality paint, because nearly everything else would make these a good option! Unfortunately however, these aren’t quality chips as is and I’d recommend them for a VERY DARK casino night since the price is right.

Not Great
I picked these up for my grandson to use for math and games. Compared to some other basic chips I picked up at a grocery store, these aren't much different. They have some heft, a particularly plasticky finish, and a faint smell that's reminiscent of fireworks. I measured several, and they were all in the ballpark of 11.5 grams, maybe trending a bit less. Also, and probably most noticeably, the alignment of the dice pattern around the perimeter of the chips is terrible. All in all, they seem like fairly basic, run-of-the-mill chips. The aesthetics aren't great, but they're fine otherwise, and decently cheap.

Nice clinking noise
Chips hit together and make a nice clinky noise that I enjoy. The chips feel heavy and durable. The print job on them is not the best. For instance, the outer ring of the chip has some dice represented and a couple are off-centered. A couple of other chips have the red paint showing that plastic underneath is slightly imperfect underneath. However, chips work great and the sound that they make is awesome!

Nice Feel
Suppose you're like me and love the visceral feel of excellent heavy, clayish-sounding poker chips that you can roll in your hands, stack with little clicks, and throw out on the table with a nice heavy thump. Then you won't be disappointed by these chips. At $7.99 a roll, they are also a good deal. Worth it for your next game.

Packaging broke
Packaging for the chips broke but fortunately it was shipped in an envelope on it's own so it's not like I had difficulties gathering them. It's got a pretty good weight to them, not flimsy. It'll be fun for a small game night and they're blank so I can write my own denomination on them if I choose to.
