These goalie gloves are well made and protect the hands very well.

My almost 10 year old was happy to use these while being goalie for soccer. We ordered a size 6 for him.

These Kalci goalkeeper gloves are very good, prior to getting these I was already very familiar with the company and their products, which have been delivering quality products for a very competitive price. Between playing and coaching I have over 40 years with the game of soccer, during that time I had a chance to check a lot of equipment including plenty of goalkeeper gloves as well, so I have a big base of comparison. Now I wanted to try these Kalci gloves as they were listing a lot of important features that are essential for keeper gloves. There are some positives to be discussed but also a lot of negatives to be mentioned as well, but before that a quick few words about the packing and presentation, the gloves come in a simple retail plastic bag with the company branding on it and some technical information about the gloves, inside the bag there are the gloves and nothing else.Positives:- Finger guards on every finger, except the thumb - The finger guards are a must if you want prevent any injuries to the fingers, the guards on these gloves a kind of soft and too sturdy, but the assumption is that the smaller sizes are for younger players and the power kicks are not strong at that age.- Variety of sizes available from 5 to 10 - I ordered size 7, which is supposed to be for kids with a palm length of 19cm between, that translates to roughly player U12-U13, and they fit well that age group.- The 4mm latex on the palm side is well cushioned and shock absorbent - The latex is definitely thick enough to absorb a lot of the shock from soccer balls, but I am not sure how the longevity is going to be and if not going to fall apart from usage.- The fit is okay and the colors are attractive - The finger side seams are mesh ventilated which helps with the sweat during the hot season games.Negatives:- Well the quality is not all there - You can see from my images that the stitching is a bit sloppy and crooked, the wrist strap is thinner and also not too sturdy, the hook and loop patches on the wrist are not too big of a high quality, so expect those not too last too long with time.- Softer finger guards, I wish that they were a bit more sturdier and not allow any finger movement past the 90 degrees.- At $37 these are a bit more expensive to what they need to be, considering all of the above.Overall, the Kalci goalkeeper gloves are an okay product, not the worst but not the best either.

After first use, the foam on the palm side of the gloves felled apart creating a crater on the glove. Will never buy this brand of goalie gloves.Giving one star for the looks.

When we first got these gloves my daughter loved them - so much so that we bought a second pair for a back up. But now that we've had them for just two months we're regretting our purchase. My daughter has played keeper for a number of years, so we're used to gloves being somewhat expendable, but we're very disappointed with the durability of these gloves. The velcro on the wrist straps has stopped holding, to the point that we had to tape them to get them to stay on. Then yesterday when she was putting them on, the foam completely ripped away from the wrist strap - and she was being very careful with them. Very disappointed and will unfortunately be looking elsewhere for goalkeeper gloves in the future.

Great gloves for the price. Have an exo-skeleton so punching the ball isn't as painful. However, the palms leave something to be desired, even with water and spit they don't grip the ball very well.
