Have always avoided a cell phone car mount. Always seemed obtrusive and awkward. But I just got a new car and definitely did not consider if it had a place to set a phone and still be able to see maps when needed (I find car play cumbersome overall). Well, I soon realized there really wasn't ANY good spot to put a sticky adhesive mount OR vent mount. A window suction cup mount was a consideration but even that was very limited location wise. So, I picked up a 3-way mount to test the few possible locations and also this cup holder one. While I preferred the phone cradle on the multi-use mount the location that this cup holder mount can keep my phone is perfect for ease of access and line of sight...both driving and glancing at maps screen. Plus it won't interfere with any of the cars cameras, drivers line of sight, or fan airflow. The actual phone cradle part felt cheaper than the other product I tried. But it keeps it's 5 stars because I don't have to fully tighten the cradle to keep the phone secure. It was the tightening and releasing of the "arms" that felt cheap - which is a non issue when you don't have to loosen and tighten every time.

Very easy to install and adjust, allows use of the cup holder unlike some others that make you sacrifice one of the holders. Definitely would order another one for my other vehicle.

The way my car is set up makes this harder to use. It is easy to use overall but just gets in the way. I haven’t used it in a couple months. I’m sure if it was just me in the car more often it wouldn’t be as bad

Really worthwhile purchase.It fits either of the two slots in my car, is very steady, and remains upright at the adjusted height and angle. It is very easy to remove, though it remains sturdy in the cup slot.Once in a bind, I ended up using it on a desk for a Zoom call. Once positioned in a cup, it worked perfectly.

It was great if I could get iPhone 13 to fit. Even taking the cover it won’t fit. I plan on trying it again outside of the car. Maybe I need to stretch is, like you do with new shoes. Please don’t take this as a negative. I’m still working on it.

I love how this holds my phone in the cup holder, but allows me to still put cups in both spots. It fis perfectly in my Nissan Rogue. I also like how it is adjustable, bends, and easily releases the phone.

I wasn't too sure how stable this particular piece would be in a cup holder. Alas, it is very stable and works very well while driving down the road. And, I can still put some junk in the cup holder. Overall I'm pretty satisfied with it.
