JEWEL ST TABLE TOP WET GRINDER- 2 LITERS-110 Volts

We have to use this machine outside. We tried using it in the kitchen, but the entire house fills with unbearable odor. Even when we use it in our two-car garage, the machine creates a blue haze that stinks to high heaven. It's hard to believe that people using these inside their homes. After trying to use it in the garage, I insisted that it be used only outside. Our rabbits sleep in the garage, and I didn't want them gassed.A device that is made for food shouldn't smell like a mechanic's garage.Grinds pretty well, though, so I don't mind giving it one star. But anything this difficult and inconvenient to use, especially in winter, doesn't deserve more than that.The company seemed willing to listen to our complaints, but there is really nothing that they can do about it. They have chosen pretty much the worst lubricant that they can find. It's not like they could send us a replacement that would be any better, if that is their lubricant of choice.The other practical problem in dealing with this seller is that their customer service is based in India, while we live in the U.S, 12 hours time difference. They strongly prefer to discuss issues on the phone during their business hours, instead of in email. Unfortunately, this means that we have to talk to them in the middle of our night.

Delivery was prompt, there was slight damage because of transportation. Called customer service and they promptly responded and replaced it immediately. Impressed with this.Vidiem is compact and easy to store, light weight. Only found it slightly inconvenient cleaning it.Grinds well and idlis are soft.

I bought this model few months back and it used to work well. But the switch is broken now and need a replacement. The product I purchased is not available anymore. So writing it here to bring your notice. Thanks.
