WORKS WELL WITH CANON R5 C, when other brands wouldn't work at all.

A must for Canon R5C owners!!
Everyone knows the R5C is a battery hog. Alvin's cables really knocked it out of the park on this, the build quality is good, the dummy battery works perfectly except the buttery time remaking is grossly underestimated, Canon engineers must have really not expected people to do this because even with a fully charged 98wh v-mount, the camera displays a maximum of "46mins" of battery time, but then proceeds to go for hours and HOURS on one battery! I can get all modes to work except for the 8k60p but, I have another camera for that 😏. Good job, Alvin's!

Great power cable
I purchased to use with the canon r5c. It’s great and I love the fact that it has the coiled cable, it makes it easier to wrap and isn’t hanging all over.

Does not work with any 8k options
I bought the item knowing that 8k 50/60fps would not function, but it will not work with any of the 8k framerates at all - very frustratiing.
