I I have a smart home gym--speediance gym monster, and this is an excellent bar for curing curls and other exercises with a little bit less stress on my shoulders and wrists. Works very well with the machine. Would likely also work with some resistance bands if you have some. I tried some other more expensive bars, but this is the best I've tried by far and it was cheaper too!

Great product except for the fact that the center clip attachment point doesn’t slide smoothly. Don’t know if it’s because it doesn’t use a quality ball bearing, or maybe wasn’t properly greased, or what, but it’s not at all a smooth experience. Now I’m left wondering if I can get some lubricant where it’s needed and whether that will make a difference or not. Like I said, it’s an otherwise great product, but any time I have to do additional work to remedy an issue I have to deduct at least one star.

For the price, this thing is amazing. I don't think a more expensive version of this bar, would be any better. I was surprised how nice it was. I considered getting just like a normal straight bar, but this thing is much better. I use it with bands, but you could also attach it to a cable machine. It has a soft rubber grip, and a nice weight to the bar, which kinda surprised me. With as many different grips options you have, it's kinda like having multiple bars. Works great for many exercises, especially biceps. Get this, a set of workout bands that comes with the handles, and door attachment. Then buy a door attachment with multiple height anchor points, and you can definitely get some gains. You can get all that under $100 if you just look for decent deals.

This works great with resistance bands and other pulley based equipment. It’s sturdy and feels like build to last.

The grip is excellent and the angles are perfect for me. The hooks swivel nicely and the center connector is handy for a one-cable row or lat pulldown. The grip surfaces are mostly good but the outer one is not exactly on the centerline of the bar, requiring me to grip it a little more, to prevent it spinning 180 degrees but not a big deal. So yeah, a great bar for many exercises. I would suggest attaching a couple extensions if your cable trainer is wider than the bar, for ease of connecting. Nice addition to the gym!

Really love this curl bar. Nice comfortable grip, this curl bar is a steel at this price.

Use with elastics so far and had any problems with it. The grip's a little bit sticky but you get used to that
