Problem connecting with battery…Solved
When first plugged our DeWalt battery in the charger it was not charging. We left it in for hours and not even warm. I then picked up the battery and flipped it over to look at it. When I returned the battery to the charger it felt kind of loose. So I pressed hard down on the battery and it slipped into place and immediately started charging according to the lights on the charger. It charged very fast and is working as expected.

Charger Doesn’t Work on a dewalt dw9057 7.2v battery charger
This charger did not charge my drill, even though it said it charges the dewalt dw9057 7.2v battery charger. I plugged it in and the charge indicator light was on green, even when I put drill in to charge, but it never did. I even left it charging overnight just to make sure.

Good substitute for original
I received the charger promptly and have extensively used it to power my elderly DeWalt drill for planting flower bulbs this fall. It worked well on both the new power packs as well as several older ones I've had for multiple years.
