The app to control/update the device is very straightforward, down to having a really handy MIDI data monitor so that you can make sure that what you're sending to your MIDI devices is what you're expecting. It'll work with all manner of pedals, from expression with variable data to a fixed on/off pedal switch.

The device is great. Lightweight but sturdy, the jacks are precise and tight, the MIDI data is produced continuously without detectable delay.The software is the worst piece of junk I have ever installed on my computer. The instructions are unintelligible Chinglish, in fact I have taken the Chinese version and asked ChatGPT to translate it, with passable results. The way the software is designed is belligerently anti-user. You have to click buttons all over the place to do the most basic things. The firmware update is a mess, too.Fortunately you only need to use the software once to assign CC11 to one of the two input jacks.

Just right for connecting up to iOS iPad for use with BIAS software from possitive grid.

I use this with virtual guitar pedal board setups within Logic Pro X, where I use it to control things like wah wah or volume whilst playing, previously I'd have to draw in the midi data after, which is never as natural.
