Summer 100% Cotton Plain Blank 6 Panel Newsboy Gatsby Apple Cabbie Cap Hat Denim Black First let me say I like the style of the hat and its fit was a little big. I had one years ago and when I found this on Amazon I was happy. I asked a question to the community and I never got an email or answer back, which I have done with other items I was buying or had bought. I came on Amazon today and in the community questions and answers my question wasn't there!!! My question was about the chemical smell of the hat. So I hand washed it in cold water like someone else had said to do and boy was that a mistake. When I was rinsing it, it ran black water and I had black dye all over my hands, Thought I'd never get my hands clean again, but now I'm glad I did wash it because if I had ever gotten caught in the rain, my blonde hair would have been Black!! plus the hat still has a chemical smell. I am very disappointed with the seller and the maker (China) that no warning was given about possible dye running when getting hat wet. Will never buy from this seller again.

This hat is ADORABLE. I was worried it might not fit, because most hats are too small for me, but it has a nice stretch of elastic that makes it size well to my head and (I'm sure) many other sized heads! I've worn it many times and it seems to be appropriately durable. My son spilled some jam on it, but oxy clean took care of the stain right away. It is comfortable and stays on well while I'm driving my convertible with the top down. Highly recommended.

This hat is the shade of 'yellow' that I was looking for in a Newsgirl cap. YES!!It's a pale, citris, lymon kind of yellow. It is NOT a pretty, deep, banana, yellow. It's the shade of yellow, of a highlighter marker pen. A electric yellow.This is the color that I 'FINALLY' found!! YES!!My phone camera is NOT so great, so do KNOW that the shade of yellow of this cap, is a 'Highlighter' marker pen, yellow.I am VERY, HAPPY with the color, size, and how it fits on me!! :)

It was too small for my perfectly average head of 22", and the color wasn't great either being a very weird dark brown. What I'm not happy about is how YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR SHIPPING BACK if you don't like it, which I was deducted $3.59 from an $11 hat...

SK Hats hit the nail on the head! Tip of the ol'hat to you!I've been wearing a cabbie hat for years, and it was falling apart so after years of trying a new hat, this one arrived today. It fits just like my original, it's medium fit, not huge and ridiculous, or tight around the crown so it pouches up, not a good look or comfortable. This one is light to medium weight, COTTON, thank goodness! Perfection in everyway! If you do not adore this hat...send it to me!

I have several newsboy style hats (also purchased here on Amazon) but their thick material and lining make them unsuitable for warm weather so I was looking for some that would be comfortable for summer wear. This arrived in a flat padded envelope which is obviously not ideal for a hat; the shape of the brim was distorted. (The others I mentioned arrived in a fuller plastic bag with plastic inserts and packing paper stuffed in them to maintain shape.). I tried it on figuring the brim could be reshaped in time and discovered it was not very full on top like it should be. For this style the top should be full enough that it overlaps the band that attaches to the brim but this does not. Still I thought I could make it work despite the overall effect being similar to a slightly poufy baseball cap with a different style brim. But when I took it off to look more closely at it I saw that the thread holding the seam together on the front two panels was loose so that seam, as well as the seam attaching it to the band, was undone creating a hole front and center on the hat (shown in the pic). So now I have to go through the PITA of returning it (not sure why they do that? It's not like they can resell a defective hat) and wait on a replacement. It is lightweight, cool, I like the color. and it fits fine. I'm on the fence at this point as to whether I'll order more colors as I'd been planning to do. As long as my replacement isn't defective as well I'd say it's about a 3 star hat but this one has been a 1 star experience all things considered. I'd really like to find a cotton version of this style that has the fullness that a newsboy should have but this particular one is 'doable' especially if you're not as picky about the style & fullness like I am.. There are other listings on here for cotton newsboy hats but it's nearly impossible to tell if it's just the same product being sold by someone else; I really wish Amazon would make a better effort to consolidate identical products.

Was having trouble finding a turquoise hat for a party I am headed to. Luckily found this one with prime shipping (perfect, I’m a procrastinator). Ordered a hat in the turquoise color and ended my search.Hat arrived and while it’s a cute hat it is NOT turquoise even though it is labeled as so. It’s blue. Not even blue-green, and no where close to turquoise.A hat is a necessity for this prop party so due to my procrastination I can’t return it (it’s fine, my fault on that, I will make due) but a warning to all, the turquoise is NOT even close to turquoise, so if that’s what you need, don’t buy from here.
