It's just nice...
Simple, straight forward PVC hook & loop. Cross is an alloy and stays on just fine. Using it on my Maxpedition Jumbo Versipack.

Looks great, but holder on the back
This looks really sharp but I never saw a warning that said that the cross is actually kind of like a tie tack with a place on the back that it has a holder. So this will not sit flush when velcroed to something.
