Country Mun Genuine Leather Stopper Pad Protectors for Dogs (Small)

I like the product and its fancy looks but most of all it helps my dog to walk supporting carpal joints.BUT!!!! I have bought XL size and it is very , very tight around the leg,due to wage fixation you have to watch them closely and every 20 minutes to fix again.Finally we lost one brace because it opened itself and fell somewhere.I understand my dog is very large - her weight is 140 lb,circumfernce of the front leg above the carpal joint is 6 inches ( her bones are heavy and large) and clearly the fixing part has to be at least 1,5 inces longer.Could be it is too short for some other large dogs like rotweiler or mastifs,because movements of the front legs are strong and stopper is getting at least loose if very tight around the dogs leg ...Otherwise, I recomend it .

I bought these boots for my Lab x as he kept scuffing and cutting his stop pads charging about our flinty fields.Fit wise, my dog is 20 kilos and medium size, but even a small boot seemed pretty big on him. The leather is soft and the fleece lining is a nice touch.However, within a few weeks of loose the velcro and the straps were starting to come loose on our walks, and I would find myself stopping to do them back up multiple times. Luckily this is an easy fix - electrical tape is great for keeping boots strapped up, as many horse riders will know, and is also quite cheap. Even with the boots and the tape, it's still a vast saving on a potential vets bill!I'm not sure I would buy a second pair, but I will certainly use these until they genuinely need to be replaced as despite the flaws they do do their job.

Although my dog is a border collie, the boots were a little too big so needed extra fastenings to keep them in place. I made sure I got the small size so they were snug. They needed to be smaller!

I bought this product after my dog had his stopper pad amputated following a failed surgery after injury. My dog is a lab x collie who loves to run hard and play fetch. The skin where his pad was is too thin for him to run. This product has allowed my dog the freedom of the park again to run wild with the ball.

Only go this the other day, does not give a great deal of support

My dog seems to always slam on his brakes (so to speak) and he ripped a good chunk of padding off. I didn't want this to be an ongoing issue so I Googled and found these miracles! I orginially ordered off the country mun website back in February and my GSD worked them to shreds. We don't do aglity or anything fancy, just playing fetch in the dog parks, which in SoCal are all dirt and rocks so these came in handy. I know I only had them for 5 months but my dog pumps his brakes hard almost on the daily with these pads. I ordered 2 more pairs from Amazon after my boy ripped a hole in one of them. They arrived way sooner than predicted and I couldn't be happier with this product. As long as you go by the measurements of your dog then you should be okay, the large fits my dog just fine.

Our dog had a carpal pad injury so needed some protection during the healing process and these looked great, but on the very first walk they both came off within about 10 minutes and one is lost forever in the fields. Followed all the instructions to make sure the velcro was attached whilst still giving room for the dog to move her legs, but to no avail.

These protect wonderfully, a simple easy to use design. Well made - they remain supple even after getting soaked in a wading pool. My Aussie Shepherd was almost 1 year old when he started to get abrasions on his Carpal Pad (aka Stopper Pad). The first time we had to drive 45 miles to an emergency vet because our local vet closed early on Saturday, and we went to the park in the late afternoon. The vet bill, the long drive and the time spent wearing a cone of shame was enough to get me searching for a solution. Even "mild" play ended with the pads roughed up. Gratful to fine this effective easy to use product. I don't leave them on all the time because my dog would turn them into a chew toy once he pulled them off of his legs.
