Well made, it has a little air vent, Fits my small saucepan perfectly.

Liked Hole in handle but would have been nice to be a little bigger but don't like the nut and screw sticking out so far from underside of lid as it's sharp when cleaning and drying it

I thought this was a good idea until it exploded and shattered into a thousand pieces all over my kitchen and in my food. I reported the incident to both Amazon and JML. Amazon refunded me , no questions asked. JML said this has 'never happened before'. Well that aside it happened to me. They did eventually concede and sent me a hamper of JML goods (5 or 6 cleaning items). I've had glass lids many times and bought this one to go with my JML Regis stone frying pan (which I love). Never had any problem before so maybe it was just a faulty lid. None the less I was lucky not to lose an eye

I rather naively purchased this as it was the only apparent option for a lid to a pan of the same brand. The drippy hole in the lid idea is a gimmick, but the hollow handle design is terrible. In washing (whatever method) it captures and holds water that sits in there unhygienically until you use it, at which point it drops out over the pan and its contents. The handle also comes lose, which at least allows you to drain the dirty water out. I have now purchased a generic lid that fits, looks better and doesn't have hygiene issues.
