Perfect
Worked perfect! I honestly was worried because my old circle pad stopped working but this resolved my issue and was easy to install. (<10 minutes) My only problem is the pliers are terrible and do not grip, at all. Thank you for the fix though!

Better than expected
Some months back I purchased a 3ds XL second hand and for some reason the joystick just felt off and it got to the point that it was stopping me from picking it up. I ran across a video showing how to replace it and it looked fairly easy. I went on the hunt to try and figured the replacement and landed on this product.I really wasn’t expecting much but was proven totally wrong. The replacement feels so smooth and easy to move around. The tools they provide are also good too. It comes together nicely with a whole little kit so you don’t need anything extra to get the swap done.Definitely recommend this product to anyone needing to switch the joystick and the whole process took less than 30 mins to change.

Circle pad Replacement Kit worked great!
My circle pad had cracked off a piece and wasn’t working properly. I didn’t know if the nub part with the ribbon cable was broken too so I ordered the whole kit. The tools were handy with the fix and all I really needed was the circle pad. I reused the dust cover and other circular pad (friction) - best to be safe than sorry. It’s all fixed now and working perfectly. The joystick is configured and I played some games after.

Small but works
Definitely smaller than the one that came with it. Easy to install, took about 10 min. Feels good, but would recommend getting a different one If you have big thumbs.

Great joystick replacement kit for the old 3DS XL
This kit is great and was a reasonably easy to install with the included screwdriver, spudger, and wipe. The kit was missing the tweezers but you don’t need them. Highly recommend for those needing to replace the joystick on the old 3DS XL.

Took my sim about 15 minutes to open the box and install. He is happy. He said it was “absolutely perfect”. My view- good vale.
