For the price, this is an absolutely superb bit of kit, no reason not to have one on any vehicle sat unused over the cold winter months. Saves buying a brand new battery when they deplete over time, just connect it with the parts supplied in the box to your battery and leave it, giving you piece of mind that when you're ready to go, your battery will be too. The cables are a reasonable length, the charger although very light in terms of weight and display information functions as it should and is plug and play.

I leave my bike in the garage all winter, and the MOTOPOWER MP00205B 12V 1000mA has been a lifesaver for keeping the battery topped up. Hooked it straight to the battery with quickn onnect leads, and it maintains a steady charge without overdoing it, no babysitting needed just plug in before the cold hits and the battery fires up like new come spring. Compact, and reliable. Exactly what i want for off season storage. Pros: ✅ Ideal trickle charge rate – 1000mA gently maintains 12V batteries without cooking them. ✅ Fully automatic operation – Switches to float mode; safe for months of continuous use. ✅ Compact and unobtrusive – Tucks neatly under the seat or on a shelf in the garage. ✅ Affordable and durable – Built tough, no heat buildup even after weeks plugged in. Cons: ❌ No built-in surge protection – Would feel safer with added shielding against power spikes. ❌ Cord could be longer – Needs an extension for my setup; wish it reached the outlet without extra cable.

The battery on my Harley-D went completely flat, so I bought this, plugged it in overnight, and it started the first time. Very complicated to use. You have to plug it into the mains, plug it into the motorbike, and... wait. Yeah, it's idiot proof. Good charger and excellent price.

This was purchased to provide charging of my tractor mower over the winter period. The battery is tricky to fully access but the positive and negative supply cables from it are connected to easily accessed bolt points on the chassis. These are smaller than on a car but I was able to fix the SAE quick release cables, which have the larger ring connecters, securely and safely with additional washers. The 2-amp unit is professionally constructed and can be wall mounted. For safety reasons make certain that the charger is located well away from a lead acid battery, which emits hydrogen and oxygen during the charging process, and that the area is well ventilated. Overall, this unit is well designed and functional for optimal maintenance of a lead acid battery during times of non-use and for fully recharging a battery when necessary.

Good item trickel charges the battery

Fantastic charger. I have had ones 3 times the price that were rubbish. Fits great to my bike with cric clips, and fitted the permanent cables. Very good. If you need a trickle charger for a motorcycle this is the one

Works perfect so far. Ordered it, had it in 2 days and now have my Harley fully charged and the battery nice and warm. Very easy to read lights, nice long flat spot on the back for laying on the floor or mounting to a wall and all the attachments you need. And the price is unbeatable. Thanks MOTOPOWER!

Very pleased with this charger, I bought it to keep my RE Himalayen battery topped up when the bike is layed up. The tender wire the charger comes with makes it so easy to charge once it's fitted to the battery
