After two years of faithful use, our previous solar pool cover started to get limp and the corners were starting to sink into the pool. This cover is actually much better quality than what I had previously. The plastic is thick and stiff. It floats nicely, and it is quite heavy when you fold it up. These covers are a pain in the neck to take on/off, but we have a heated pool. These keep the heat in and prevent evaporation. We have had our pool heater on since October here in NE Florida. With this cover, I have not had to add water to the pool in over a month, and our pool heater runs only for about an 1 hour each day. This is a must have to keep your pool warm and prevent evaporation in the cooler months here in the South.

This thermal blanket is great. This is the first time ever using one. So glad we decided to get it. Our pool is 16' x 32', it is a must in our opinion to get the roll up system also. We put this blanket on our pool April 19 and by May first we were swimming in our pool with a water temperature of 82. We live in NC. First time in 12 years of living here we were able to swim in May, no less May 1st.

We like this Thermal Solar Blanket very much due to being a good thickness, it is well made and is easy to use on our pool!

I purchased this blanket from the same maker/seller as the Reel I also purchased. The grade of the blanket was middle grade since the higher grade don't last much longer and are not worth the extra money. The benefit to ensure this blankets last is the care you take each time you remove the blanket and place it on by also buying the quality reel this seller also makes and sells. It design provides the height to keep the blanket from wearing on the edge of the pool or on the cement decking. I also invested in buying addition clips for the blanket and their quality stainless steel reel. I also purchased a quality cover for the unit for the cold winter months. It also pays to clean the cover occasionally from the dust, dirt, leaves and bird droppings as you reel the cover off the pool. I have sufficient decking that allows me to hose the cover on the deck and prevent all the dirt from going into the pool. It little extra work keeps everything clean and working. Highly recommend this sellers products.

Firstly, I don't like pool covers. Ugly and a pain to remove. However, I do like the benefits of a pool cover, warmer water and especially less evaporation. I tried inflatable circular lily pad type cover from Amazon and they were more trouble than they were worth. Didn't last a season. I bought now, I hope, a heavy duty cover that will last years. Back to the ugly part. A 15x30 blanket blue blanket that I can barely move myself was not going to make it. An idea and some math later I decided to make my own lily pads. Carefully cut out 88 inch circles and put them in my pool. Had enough left over to make the small ones even. Been in a week, a partly cloudy cool week here in souther California and has gone up 2 degrees. So far, I like it a lot.

I read of size being off. I thought I would have about a foot to spare on width and 2 feet on length. The actual width was too short by 1 foot. So I feel it was about 18 inches off from what is was supposed to measure.It is heavy duty....the pool is warming up nicely in just 3 days!Great bang for buck over all...
