Double-Sided Adhesive Pad and Electrostatic Film – VHB Mounting Tape for Dash Cam – Secure, Residue-Free Accessory for Car Windshields

I bought this for my VIOFO dash cam which is mounted via adhesive to mount to my tinted windshield. It's been on there for 8 months so far and has gone through summer and winter. I don't know if you're supposed to use 2 of them together like some of the review pics, but I just have mine mounted to to the center of a single piece and have the other as a backup. Just make sure to not stick it on the dotted area near the center and top of the windshield and it should stick after some massaging of the pad.

Wonderful options to choose from to replace dash cam mount when I changed them to a new car. These stay on very well and even tricky to get off but you can get them off.

Great product and packaging.

I used this to replace the viofo's sticker as it wasn't keeping the camera on the windshield during hot days. After cleaning my windshield and using alcohol on the spot for the static sheet, it went on without any issues and placed the sticker on it left alone for 24 hours and works great with camera all day.

This product was a complete disappointment. The adhesive is so weak that it couldn’t hold my dash cam in place, no matter how many times I tried. On our first trip with the dash cam installed using these adhesive pads, the front camera kept falling off, forcing me to awkwardly hold it in place from the passenger seat while my husband was driving. The back camera—lighter than a pencil—wouldn’t stick either, making it impossible to record any footage from the rear. Initially, I thought the front camera might be too heavy, but after seeing the back camera fail just as miserably, it was clear the problem is the product itself. I spent almost $14 for nothing. For the entire trip, we missed out on proper dash cam footage: the back camera never stayed on, and the front camera only captured tilted, shaky clips whenever I pressed it against the windshield with my hand. Save your money—this product is completely unreliable for dash cam mounting. I expected much better from something branded 3M.

I gave 5 stars as they are very good BUT was returned due to being too small to replace the sticky pad on my V90 360 degree dashcam. I ordered another brand that will suffice but has to be trimmed into shape.
