This machine was ordered to replace a broken and too costly to repair Brother machine. I initially ordered another off-brand sewing machine that was non-functioning from the very get go. I am delighted to have a working machine again. I gave it only four stars because the computer screen's backlight is burned out. I can still read what is on the screen, so that makes it acceptable to me. Brother has done a superb job of refurbishing this machine. Kudos to Brother!
