Choose this over Innovv
I am extremely happy with my purchase. Installation was fun and easy. My bike ( 2024 ninja 500) didn't have an accessory fuse available, once I figured out where to install a T-Tap it was very easy. Performance and clarity are excellent. App works great and is packed with features. I researched for over a month before I decided to go with your products. And I am very glad I chose to go with you guys!

Great camera system.. excellent customer support
After a simple but involved installation; removing fairings, routing/securing cables and then testing, testing & more testing, it was obvious the unit I received was defective... in that it would not shut off. Rather, it would shut off as designed but would start right back up, regardless of key on/off or yellow wire powered or not. I thought maybe the red/yellow wires were swapped or mismarked as I read affected some units, but that wasn't the case.I contacted support and after a couple back/forth communications and convincing them it was the 'you, not me', they said they would replace it, and I only needed to return the main unit & cameras! I was super relieved I didn't have to tear-down to uninstall the cables, but I was still bummed I thinking it'd be several weeks before I could use it.Once I provided them the tracking number, they quickly shipped a new (unopened retail-box) unit that arrived in only a couple days. Plugged-in the new head unit and installed cameras in my mounts and I was in biz! It worked as expected and am happy with the performance. The hardware seems to be of high quality, there's ample cable length to accommodate any configuration.... and the software/app works ok, but has room for improvement- which I assume will be coming.I've a couple 'wishes' and recommendations to improve:- I can see wanting to pull the card to download videos on pc. I understand the interior of the head unit needs to be sealed to the environment, but wow, the card cover screws are too tiny, too easy to lose and best only be removed on a bench. It'd be great if the card-cover were held in place by compression.. say, a spring clip in the external housing/mount, applying force as the unit is slid in. Or something, anything to allow easily accessing the card.- I requested they add a 'disable auto-record' toggle in the app settings.- Add sort/view options in videos/albums in app; ability to sort by size and to change to 'details view' showing only filename, as it contains the timestamp and which cam; A or B.- (Update) - PLEASE, MOD THE FIRMWARE TO ENABLE THE UNIT TO STAY ON AFTER KEY IS OFF, AS LONG AS IT'S CONNECTED TO THE MOBILE APP 🙏 To avoid having to keep the ignition on during long downloads, and for testing or just wanting to record with engine off.Overall, I'm happy with the purchase and would recommend anyone who's considering to go for it!

image delay milliseconds
this camera is really very nice. The installation is very easy.. It did take me a long time to do it, but that’s myself as I said the installation was very easy.. I had the camera and yes for about 20 days. Then I noticed one significant thing for myself yet this might not be a problem for you. It’s not going to be everyone’s problem, but it is my problem with the camera and I’ll tell you what it is right now.Lag time on the camera can be a little too slow. Give an example.. I am on the side of the road and physically look behind me. There is a car that’s perhaps 25 yards behind me.. the time delay on the camera is just too much. When I look at the camera, the car goes by and I don’t have the time that I would otherwise need to see the car if I were just looking at the camera itself.. it’s sort of an odd thing. So in the visual process with no other cars in the rear, it can appear to almost be two cars within a very short period of time and yet it is the same car.. for me being on the side of the road and that much of a time delay that’s just too much and then in real time motion could offer a significant difficulty. I’m pretty sure that there will be advances to make a very quick camera action but the lag time in milliseconds is just too much when traffic can be going in a 70 miles an hour and you’re not gonna notice something when you need to. Other than that it is a terrific camera and I feel a little bad that I would return this for Credit since it does have excellent recommendations and the recommendations excluding that are very accurate. That’s your decision other than that it lives up to its reputation. I’m writing this after I return the camera and was given a refund.. I wish you the best in finding a dash cam of equivalency and this might be the one excluding the lag time that I’m talking about is your preference. There are many features on this camera that really make it exceptional and living up to its reputation. So that’s my only complaint.

ordered 9/3/24
Ordered the Front & Rear cam setup for my 24 Indian Chieftain DarkHorse on 9/3 after having a run in with a idiot road rager trying to run me over. I went ahead and spent ythe $400 on the cam system because after what happened I wanted to know I had the best possible camera I could get and this did not dissapoint. The clarity of the camera is excellent and the vibration correction is amazingly steady. I am very happy with my purchase and not at all disappointed in spending as much as I did on it. Installation was pretty straight forward, the most difficult part of the install was trying to determine how I wanted to mount it on my brand new bike so that it did not stick out like a sore thumb. I used zip ties to the outside of the rear fender and chased the antenna hole so that it was all hidden behind the saddlebags, unfortunately when I took my bike back to the dealership to have the accessory trunk installed that I ordered when I bought the bike, they cut the zip ties and did not put them back in place. during a 400 mile road trip, the rear camera cable laid across the exhaust and melted through causing the rear camera to stop working. I contacted Vantrue through amazon and they quickly offered to send me a replacement rear camera cable after verifying my order details. The customer service is on point for this company and I am happy to give them a good review here.
