Q: Are these waterproof?

No & they make your feet stink as well but very comfortable

Q: Looking for a pair of non lace slip ons for morning runs how have they held up?

I bought these husband for croquet use so cannot verify hard use of them for running. Shoes are very comfy, light, easy & cool to wear - so great for croquet play and tournaments. Slower & softer use of shoe used here. I feel a better support & a more solid shoe would protect your feet & be safer for you. Hope this helps, Anne
