I needed them for flute glasses and my friend let me try one of her holders which she uses for charcuterie display. They are a perfect fit...so in gift giving 4 glasses to a team, along with a bottle to celebrate, I now don't have to worry about the glasses being broken...they have their own lil' security wrapped around them! I haven't used this for french fries, but they seem durable enough for fries, or anything else you may think of!
