Awesome
I go through recipes and have a hard time finding recipes that I like all the ingredients. Menu planning is a nightmare! These books you can easily menu plan and eat things you love! I would recommend purchasing the spiral bond because you can lay it flat.

Good cookbook. Worth the money.
This cookbook has given me some good ideas. I've used several recipes, and found them pretty tasty. On the down side, one pasta recipe I tried was way off on porportions. It called for a 16 oz box of linguini. Yikes! It was about 4X the appropriate quantity. We had linguini for a family of 10! It seems to me that in a cookbook that is supposed to be a distillation of best recipes, the test kitchen would have caught that boo boo. But overall, I'd recommend this cookbook.

Don't carbs matter?
I purchased this book after being given a pre-diabetes diagnosis and being told to stick to 30 or less grams of carbs a day. At this point I have only skimmed the book, but I am not happy. Many of these recipes exceed 30 grams of carbs for a single serving. Most of the others use up at least half of the allowance. The chicken recipes look reasonable, so maybe I can find some new ways to serve chicken. But I had hoped for better from a book targeted at diabetics. If I am only pre-diabetic and cannot eat these, how can a diabetic eat them?I avoided keto cookbooks because of the unusual alternative (weird types of flour, etc) ingredients, but looking at some of these recipes it may be the alternative ingredients that cut the carbs.

Easy to make and read recipes for the working individual.
I like the easy recipes and easy to find ingredients and the realization that these foods are traditional foods that just use lower fat, calories, and sugar for those that have restrictive diets. It's a must for your holiday and party gatherings.

Ease of use
Lots of good recipes, I wasn't expecting a cook book, I thought it was a meal planner with flip cards to choose say breakfast, lunch and dinner and figure your carbs. It does have the flip cards, but just not what I expected, I wanted something simpler I am knew to the carb stuff and having a hard time and this was over my head. Nice book though.

Just Recipes
This is nothing like a month of meals book. No meal plans or suggestions. You wouldn't be able to plan a day of appropriate meals based on the limited information provided. The one thing that is similar to month of meals books are the stupid cards that easily fall out of the book after a few uses. Really disappointing.
