Good color match

I bought this paint pen on a whim. The paint matches the OEM 2008 Dodge Charger SRT8 paint exactly. I will say I liked the brush end of the pen more than the point. Even for fine scratches, the pen point pushed out too much paint to control or use effectively. I have not applied any clear over any of the “fixes”. It looked good enough with just color and I didn’t think it needed a clear coat. Time will tell if this product lasts.

No prep wipes were included when it arrived.

1. Good for minor scratch fixes as the brush and sponge provided do not give a smooth coat unlike spray paint. For bigger scratches, proper paint job is better. 2. Dark black and glossy finish. 3. It is on the expensive side as it is imported and a well known brand. 4. The product comes with a prep wipe to clean the affected surface. 5. After cleaning the surface, use the abrasive tip to level the scratch or remove the paint from the other vehicle. Then carefully apply the base coat. 6. Remember to not sand the surrounding area after applying the base coat because the surrounding clear coat will go away. Directly apply the clear coat after drying the base coat. 7. I am disappointed with the sponge used for the clear coat which broke off the tip. It is very delicate. Hence use it with care. 7. Make sure to use gloves and use it in a well ventilated area (or use a gas mask), as the chemicals are harmful on long term exposure. My experience: Everything was going fine until I sanded the surface before adding the clear coat (saw this in a youtube comment - probably this is a procedure for normal spray painting). Now I have to take it to a professional paint shop :(
