These dishes are great! Not too heavy, I love the color blue, microwave safe and I find they come out of the microwave much cooler than other dishes I have. Very happy with this purchase!

I love the intricate designs on these Fotessa Havana plates. I chose the 8.5-inch salad plates in adobo brown and they are just gorgeous. I would describe the color as more of a terra cotta or burnt orange than a true brown. The designs are done in an off-white/cream as opposed to a bright white. I'm not sure if you can tell by my photo that shows light reflecting on the plate, but the designs give the plate a very subtly raised texture. You can feel it with your hand if you can't see it; it is very subtle. The finish of the plates is glossy.Right now I am using these plates daily for snacks, salads or reheating leftovers. They work wonderfully in the microwave and also do just fine in the dishwasher, too. That doesn't surprise me, since they are made of vitrified china, meaning they have been fired at a high temperature until they are nonporous, smooth, glossy and the finish is glasslike. Vitrification makes china stronger and nonpurous, which means it is less prone to aborbing moisture and bacteria.Overall, this Fortessa Havana dinnerware is great quality, durable and gorgeous. In fact these plates are so pretty that once my kitchen and living area are repainted, I plan to hang these on the wall.

This is a nice, simple, and elegant set of 4 dinner plates. The print looks decent, but the blue has a darker hue and less vibrant than I had expected. The backdrop color is like a creamy mushroom (soup) tone. Together, it looks good. Advertised as dishwasher safe, microwave safe, oven safe up to 400°F, and even good for both home and commercial use. I don't think I'll ever use it in the oven, but that's certainly a nice feature. One less star because although it think it's nice, I wasn't as impressed with the colors as how I saw it on the screen.

I love these Fortessa Havana Vitrified China Coupe Rimless Plates of four. These feel weighty and high quality. These plates are a little larger that the average dinner plate. I'm happy every time I lift one out of the cupboard. I read reviews that these are very durable and although mine are brand new, I can see how they will stand the test of time & use. Another super plus they are OVEN, MICROWAVE AND DISHWASHER SAFE. These are simple and beautiful and I'm extremely happy with the Fortessa dinner dishes.

These Fortessa plates definitely met expectations and are extremely pretty in person.The pattern and subtle raised texture add a luxurious touch to any Havana-inspired tablescape. I really love the Adobo Brown color, which is a warm rust tone that pairs easily and brings the earthy vibe of abode structures. Also, I was happy that the pattern was executed over a creamy off-white rather than true white.I ordered the salad plates and enjoy layering them with solid color stoneware dinner plates in cream, pale blush, or olive green, which each compliment the Adobo Brown and pattern in different ways.These are really beautiful plates and I highly recommend them.

I don't know why but for some reason I thought these plates where melamine. They are in fact ceramic and are really lovely! The pattern is just beautiful and they'll make such a lovely addition to my Thanksgiving table. I chose the salad plates and am very happy I did so. I have chocolate brown plates with pewter glazing that I use for holidays and these will make a beautiful addition to those.They're the perfect salad or pie plate and I couldn't be happier. I would totally recommend to friends and family!

These are very attractive plates, in a good size for salad or dessert. The design will work with a variety of decor choices. They're sturdy -- you won't need to hesitate to use these for everyday family meals.They're oven safe. I don't usually warm plates, but it's a nice touch, and it's nice to be able to warm food on a plate sometimes.
